Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I got 2 G&B boxes on 2 separate orders and both were sealed and fine —quite annoying as no excuse to eat them now—

QOD · 17/11/2018 08:15

I’m after best place to get Jimmy Cho perfume. Seems £50 is actual price but that’s way above budget for niece

Nearlyadoctor · 17/11/2018 08:18

If anyone else has a Boden code they don’t want I’d be really grateful.

DeanImpala67 · 17/11/2018 08:21

M&S 20% off codes if anyone still wants them:-

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 17/11/2018 08:23

@QOD allbeauty.com are having a flash sale on Jimmy Choo perfumes right now. haven't had a close look but might be worth you having a look, see if what you want is in it (the site is legit, i use it all the time)

JellycatElfie · 17/11/2018 08:25

This may have already been posted but elc have good deals on toys!

NoWordForFluffy · 17/11/2018 08:28

Thank you @DeanImpala67, I needed a code to get pyjamas for DD as I twitched on Batman ones for DS last night, so had to get her some too!

SmithyDarlingLetsDoShots · 17/11/2018 08:35

I want to order an echo dot from amazon for DH's present but does anybody know how i find something for 1p to get free postage. Thank you.

RaggieDolls · 17/11/2018 08:36

Thanks applepinkierainbow I think they are hideous and I really can't see 7 year old DD playing with one but she's mentioned them so many times I feel I can capitulate at £7.99 rather than £20!

ja9r · 17/11/2018 08:36

Re thread title: Yep. The chocolates were my twitch. Bought two boxes. No idea who for!

ja9r · 17/11/2018 08:37

@McSleepy that was me! Thank you!!

XiCi · 17/11/2018 08:39

Tailrunner I would set up a camelcamelcamel alert for the barbie camper van. I think I got mine from amazon for about £30 last year so they do reduce them. They're pretty big and open right out. My dd has played with this loads so I do think they are worth the money

QOD Fragrance Direct have black Friday deals on at the moment. I've had YSL and Hugo Boss bargains from them in the last few days.

My Amazon G&B were also perfect and sealed in bubble wrap thankfully as they are all gifts.

I've got a £10 Boden voucher I can pm if anyone wants it

XiCi · 17/11/2018 08:42

Smithy if you type in 1p free delivery in amazon search loads of stuff pops up

SmithyDarlingLetsDoShots · 17/11/2018 08:53

Thank you Xi that's what I did but when i add them to the basket it's still saying I nees to add 1p of items dispatched by amazon to qualify for free delivery Sad

LokiBear · 17/11/2018 08:57

I bought dh and dd each a kindle paperwhite in the Amazon black friday event yesterday. Paid £89.99 each so really hoping they dont go down further. Research says its unlikely. Bought the case/covers from ebay as they are so much cheaper. Tesco have a green and black gift set for half price at £5.50. Bought it for one of the men in my team who loves posh chocolate (and doesnt drink!). For the girls in my team, Ive bought a champneys body butter set from boots (was actually the free thing i bought as it was in their 342). Which im splitting up to make 4 gifts. I think I'll put some chocolates with it to make it a bit more special.

Beadley · 17/11/2018 08:57

@Smithy - there’s a smart plug in offer with the Alexa for £10 extra. It really enhances the functionality of the dot and is seriously good value for a tenner. Plus it brings you over the threshold for free delivery. Win win!

Amazon offer Dot with Smart Plug

CookieSwirlC · 17/11/2018 08:58

I finally decide to jump on the chocolate bandwagon and they’re back up to £14 on Amazon, should have bought some from Tesco’s earlier in the week when I was there!

XiCi · 17/11/2018 08:59

Ah OK Smithy. There is a link for eligible goods as someone linked to it last year and I used it. Think I ended up buying sellotape.

Found it. Here you go

In case anyone still needs an M&S code:

WKFU-D747-BNJV-7RAM
WKE6-5E4H-MX3F-7RFB

Namedecisions · 17/11/2018 09:03

Thanks for the nfl Sainsbury’s tip WhirlwindHugs I’m going to order one for DH.
I’ve also got some M&S 20% off codes if anyone needs one then let me know

Roystonv · 17/11/2018 09:11

Could I have m and s code please jet

mycatislickingherpaw · 17/11/2018 09:12

THis could potentially be interesting.
Alexandalexa.com have a sale page with lots of toys in it. Some items seem to be nicely discounted already. If you put what interests you in the basket and leave it there, there will certainly be a code for an additional discount on their page on Black Friday.

PinglePongle · 17/11/2018 09:13

Amazon for the Jimmy Choo perfume - they have all been between £13-20 this week on offer

HoneyDragon · 17/11/2018 09:16

I purchased these personalised decorations when they were £1.99 and they were amazing for that price, they are now £1.49 each.

We tend to gift a dec to kids and family at advent so the personalisation is great.

www.studio.co.uk/shop/en/studio/black-Friday/black-friday-christmas/black-friday-christmas-decorations/personalised-xmas-decoration---grandparents-p-pln239236

Nice little gift for grandparents too, especially if your children have special nick names for them.

XiCi · 17/11/2018 09:18

Just a word of warning re Amazon perfumes. There are alot of fakes sold via 3rd party Amazon sellers. I would be very wary if buying a £65 perfume for £13 from them. If you are tempted make sure you check out the reviews and sellers thoroughly
