Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thanks for the Elemis offer Casablanca

imsorryiasked · 20/11/2018 22:06

@Methenyouplus4 would a book set work?

Pandasarecute · 20/11/2018 22:13

What's good from Elemis? I'm tempted by such a good offer but I've never had anything from there- any recommendations?

Jammiebammie · 20/11/2018 22:24

Thanks bez33 and cassablanca for the elemis deal, the racket has my fave frangipani scent at only £15 so that’s a great deal with free delivery too.

I can’t get the Birchbox thingie to work only adding one box not two (unless I’m being dense)

For pp mentioning Adidas code (sorry I’m on diff page and can’t remember your name!) the BF18 works on sale items too, but only after midnight tonight, some great savings to be had.

Jammiebammie · 20/11/2018 22:25

Cracker, not racket.

Pandasarecute · 20/11/2018 22:28

Thank you Jammiebammie

Methenyouplus4 · 20/11/2018 22:31

Book set is a fab idea, any ones folks could suggest? Doubt Boom People would be here in time. I am in city centre Thursday so coukd try The Works. Amazon woukd be even better.

RJnomore1 · 20/11/2018 22:31

Is the Debenhams website down?

Coldilox · 20/11/2018 22:36

gaggiagirl I think one is going to MIL for one of her presents, we’ll squabble over the other and will probably both have read it before Christmas Grin

fairiesandelves · 20/11/2018 22:43

Thanks casablanca I got the hand wash for £16 to get my freebies !

buckeejit · 20/11/2018 22:49

Ooh, I really like the look of the doorway puppet theatre at GLTC & it will fold to nothing so no space issues. What a quandary.....

nicky2512 · 20/11/2018 22:51

I was wondering does anywhere ever reduce phones? I need an I phone 7 plus - one that I can use with existing contract (is that unlocked? - i'm not very technical!). Have been holding off but maybe should just get it bought.

imsorryiasked · 20/11/2018 22:58

@RJnomore1 I had to queue earlier for access.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 20/11/2018 23:00

Could someone tell me about the Green and Black's please?

imsorryiasked · 20/11/2018 23:01

@Methenyouplus4 Anything by Nick Butterworth, or the Little Red Train stories by Benedict Blathwayt. Maybe mr men?

AtSea1979 · 20/11/2018 23:02

I need a fancy body wash. Can anyone recommend? I was thinking Liz Earle so far but no quite found the set I want as I don’t want body lotion in it.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 20/11/2018 23:02

@Methenyouplus4 the works always have lovely box sets of books! I would this Roald Dahl, Peter Rabbit treasury or a traditional take box set would be good?

margaritasbythesea · 20/11/2018 23:02

Methenyouplus4- My kids loved The Magic Faraway tree at that age. You can get a box set of the three books with the same characters.

NewDayBlankPage · 20/11/2018 23:08

Thank you for the Birchbox and Elemis info, have bought both. Baa!
Thank you for the info on dobbies too (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name). They’re not really garden centre sort of people but it might be nice for my grandma.
I’ll probably give my mum and mum in law some toiletries from the Elemis and Birchbox offers, just have to find something for my dad and fil now.

ihopeyouwitchesareready · 20/11/2018 23:11

not really a gift but i was wondering if anybody knew where i could get a wee display stand for my kitchen worktop its to make a hot chocolate station for the kids. thanks

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 20/11/2018 23:19

methenyouplus4 at 4 my dds loved Sue Hendra - especially her supertato and Dave the cat series.

Or the dinosaur who pooped series are really funny.

Oi dog, oi frog, or oi cat are pretty funny too.

Maybe try Tesco or asda they often have books in the 2 for £7 or box sets with a book and teddy. I got supertato one year for about £5.

Busy books are great for that age - book with playmat and 12 figures Cost around £6. I usually wrap with a DVD. So dd had the incredibles 2 for her birthday. There's loads available, Disney or other characters like paw patrol/Peter rabbit.

A keepsake gift - my dds like photos so maybe a photo frame with a nice picture of a fun day out. Or Snowglobes. They love them and seem to get a new one each year now. Primark sometimes have lovely ones.

SockEatingMonster · 20/11/2018 23:43

Gosh these threads are moving at a pace now!

@Reastie my blurb.co.uk photobook arrived today, and I’m very impressed, especially considering that many of the photos were scans and low resolution pics from old mobile phones. Not the cheapest, but I’m very pleased with it.

Off to catch up on the thread now...

Larryduff · 21/11/2018 00:02

Thankyou jammie 2 pairs ordered for £56 - nice!

Pandasarecute · 21/11/2018 04:42

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 21/11/2018 06:14

Atsea- l'Occitane for your fancy body wash IMO. Always loads of offers and codes.
