Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I’m making a baking hamper for my 12 yr old niece. Any ideas of the best place to buy fun (inexpensive) baking gifts online? Thinking spatulas, sprinkles, cup cake cases etc

Carrie76 · 18/11/2018 15:28

@atsea1979 I’m in Ireland but here if you ring lidl customer services they check stock for you in up to 3 stores. Might be the same in the UK?

Maranello · 18/11/2018 15:34

Thanks @Elphaba17 that looks a good contender! Just have to check the stripes are correct (DS is a stickler) but that's not an outrageous price.

@defensivejingling I might have got muddled up on the US shipping - I've looked at a lot of sites! - as checking again it's saying £4 delivery, which isn't too bad. Just wish they did kids' sizes.

@Maranello If you search 13th Doctor Cosplay in the Red Bibble site there are some nice options. Not cheap but not bankruptable prices either!

Go into each item to change to correct colour/clothing style. This link should give you the blue version of the braces tee (love it!) but might return to default pic of babygro. If it does just choose kids tee and your size and colour in the drop box.

I now want one of these for my DD. And I thought I was doneConfused

@sunshineNdaisies Latest In Beauty do a few one off boxes. Some are pretty pricey but there's a £20 at the bottom of the page.

LokiBear · 18/11/2018 15:57

Wilkos have nice baking stuff that is cheap.

Gentlygently · 18/11/2018 16:03

Thanks v much for all the HP pyjama recommendations. Primary looks like a front runner!

Gentlygently · 18/11/2018 16:04

Primark. Stupid auto correct!

AWholeLottaRosie · 18/11/2018 16:06

If anyone likes Alien perfume, the Mugler website has a boxed gift set for £31, there's a code for 10% off , WELCOME18, plus another code ALIENDUO18 which gives you a free notebook and body milk. Delivery free also.

rosablue · 18/11/2018 16:38

@Carrie76 TK Maxx and Homesense have nice stuff, often from fun lines, well reduced.

Poundland has good things for cupcakes and cake pops

B&m and Hime Bargains often have cake decorating stuff really cheaply, including good brands really well reduced for sprinkles.

Wilko can have nice stuff at reasonable prices.

Lakeland has loads of great stuff but expensive so use for inspiration! You’ll often find similar stuff on eBay or amazon. Or in TK maxx or Homesense.

Lidl has some bits In at thuhht the moment - I just got some cheap silicon chocolate molds from them.

NotPennysBoat · 18/11/2018 16:51

@BrightonBB what's the link for the Winston book and how much is it please?

Taffeta · 18/11/2018 16:57

PiggeryPorcombe · 18/11/2018 17:01

Has anyone seen any good deals on Woodwick candles apart from the Boots 3 for 2?

PinkDaydreams · 18/11/2018 17:03

@Taffeta thank you for the Venus fly trap at waterstones :)

Gettingorganised21 · 18/11/2018 17:08

Hi, does anyone have a Boden voucher they are not using?

Also looking for a book people free delivery code if anyone has one?

Personwithnoname · 18/11/2018 17:11

Pound toy is similar to toys for a pound. 10% off with Xmas10 code.

vjg13 · 18/11/2018 17:14

Thanks for the poster who put up the M&S codes. Woodwick candles can be cheaper on Amazon sometimes.

NoWordForFluffy · 18/11/2018 17:27

Fragrance Direct has cheap Woodwick (£10 off RRP).

Gettingthereslowly1 · 18/11/2018 18:14

Did anyone have a delay in receiving their Red Letter Day evouchers? I ordered 4 before lunchtime and they’re still not here - bit concerned. Money has been taken from PayPal.

NewDayBlankPage · 18/11/2018 18:20

elohaba my dd is looking for a Stacey doll too so if I find anything I’ll let you know (or if anyone else knows of anywhere we could find one). I think maybe they’re older dolls that they don’t make anymore as all the ones I’ve seen have been secondhand.

NewDayBlankPage · 18/11/2018 18:21

Still looking for something for parents and in-laws if anyone has any ideas. Usually get one thing for them to share E.g. cinema/restaurant/experience vouchers or a big hamper. Nothing jumping out at me this year.
