Who, other than Molton brown, sells a Christmassy smelling hand wash?

White Company Winter

But MB Frankincense one is the best!

tryingtocatchthewind · 12/11/2018 07:01

Body shop have a couple of different Xmas fragrances

Tryingtogetitright · 12/11/2018 07:03

Bayliss & Harding do one - had it last year - it's nice

Acunningruse · 12/11/2018 08:52

Avon usually do one

strawberryalarmclock · 12/11/2018 09:02

The world has gone mad.
Festive hand wash? Presumably in a thick plastic bottle?
Here's an idea, buy a bar of soap. I absolutely love Christmas but I also look at my dc and know that more than anything I want them, and future generations to have a planet that hasn't been destroyed by humans being utterly ridiculous and thoughtless.

Taffeta · 12/11/2018 11:16

Good point pp I bought some lovely Frankincense bar soap the other day from our local farm shop.

There are some in the cancer research charity shops. Shaped tree and Santa bottles. £2.99.

Doyoumind · 12/11/2018 11:31

I've seen the Bayliss & Harding one. I'm not usually one to go all out on the Christmas side of things (i.e. duvet covers) but I like festive candles and am tempted by the handwash.

JakeBallardswife · 12/11/2018 11:32

Second soap idea, that’s a great positive change, lasts longer & cheaper too.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:33

Fragrance really makes things seem festive to me!

TigerDrankAllTheWaterInTheTap · 12/11/2018 11:33

Rude. I'm with strawberry on this.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:34

I hate bar soap, I find it really unpleasant so I won’t be buying it. If I’d have wanted bar soap or an environmental lecture then I’d have asked for one.

squishee · 12/11/2018 11:35

Just mix some five spice into your normal hand wash. Maybe orange flavour cake flavouring too?
It gets washed down the sink after all. Waste of money to buy it.

I want some festive drain cleaner please...

No need to call someone thick because they want different things to you. Hmm

We also use festive washing up liquid, you’d absolutely hate it in our house @strawberryalarmclock

strawberryalarmclock · 12/11/2018 11:37

I'm still chuckling that people actually give headspace to this sort of shit.
My granny would think you'd lost your mind!!!

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:38

Personal attacks aren’t allowed on MN....

I’m intrigued about the festive washing up liquid! We only use about 2 bottles a year though so I’d still be using it in June Confused

Stop being so unpleasant please, plenty of companies (I’ve now learnt) produce nice, Christmassy selling handwash at this time of year. I wanted to buy some, I’ve had some nice suggestions and one person who’s decided to call me thick despite having no knowledge of my IQ or level of education. Please just leave it, I don’t need these personal attacks.

OP posts:
Doyoumind · 12/11/2018 11:41

Festive handwash performs a function and costs the same as normal handwash anyway so it's not like buying something completely unnecessary for the sake of being festive.

reallybadidea · 12/11/2018 11:42

I'm not a fan of bar soap either. It leaves gunge on the side of the sink (or soap dish) which then needs cleaning off, it dries my skin so that I need to use hand cream (which means buying more stuff in a plastic bottle) and it slips about in an annoying manner (I've lost count of the number of times that I've had to scoop it out of the sink after placing it on the side).

Also struggling to see why buying festive handwash is any more of a waste of money than any other kind of handwash?

freerefill · 12/11/2018 11:43

Watching with interest.

Do femfresh do a nice mulled wine scented Christmas wash too?

MichaelMumsnet · 12/11/2018 11:44

Ding dong merrily on festive handwash thread. [santa]
We'll delete the personal attacks (as per the talk guidelines) but do please try to keep it civil.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:46

I assume free refill is being sarcastic Hmm
