Who, other than Molton brown, sells a Christmassy smelling hand wash?

we got a lovely one in TK Maxx, can't remember the brand but it smells like spiced apple. They had quite a few different ones in there so might be worth a visit.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:47

Sounds perfect hollyjolly

Festive fem fresh Grin
Apologies if I've offended anyone, I've been on here a long time and never have before.
I do tend to get reasonably annoyed about wasteful shit like unnecessary plastic.
I have dc and I'd like them to have a decent planet to live on and their own dc etc
Silly me eh?

freerefill · 12/11/2018 11:52

Not being sarcastic no. Smile be really nice if it was pigs in blanket scent too.

strawberryalarmclock · 12/11/2018 11:54

@freerefill I think there maybe a gap in the (wasteful) market!
Turkey scented sanitary protection?

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:54

No need for the continued sarcasm tbh

But FYI I do not own a car, I buy all dry goods from a plastic free store, I buy our food from local sources as much as possible BUT I love Christmas and all things merry and will not be made to feel guilty for having nice smelling handwash.

Big Christmas fan here too. Nothing bah humbug about this house at Christmas time.

freerefill · 12/11/2018 11:56

@strawberryalarmclock with a tinsel string!!

loveandstuffing · 12/11/2018 11:56

Let it go strawberry.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:56

You’re a truly horrible lot. I suppose it makes you feel clever mocking me? Shame on you both. Thank you for the nice replies I shall have a look for your suggestions.
To the others can’t you stick to AIBU if you need to be so nasty to someone you’ve never met!

OP posts:
Onemorefireball · 12/11/2018 11:57

I've got a really nice peppermint and poppy seed bar of soap from boots. It smells like candy canes!

freerefill · 12/11/2018 11:58

I'm not being nasty. I love Christmas. Actually have been up since 4 am sorting out stuff for a Christmas event [santa][santa][santa][santa]

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 11:59

Unfortunately one of my nephews suffers with Pica so it suits us better to not use bar soaps but thank you for the polite suggestion.

reallybadidea · 12/11/2018 11:59

I don't believe you're sorry at all strawberry seeing as you've just carried on with the mocking.

strawberryalarmclock · 12/11/2018 12:00

How am I being nasty? I love the festive season but I was merely offended that people wouldn't consider a nicely scented hand soap, instead of yet another unnecessary plastic bottle.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 12:00

You’re being nasty by repeatedly taking the mickey.

OP posts:
BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 12:02

I’m sorry because asking you to bore off was rude in the first place, I didn’t like being called thoughtless and ridiculous when you know nothing about me or my life. I probably should have ignored you. I don’t feel like the sustained mickey taking is necessary though.

OP posts:
strawberryalarmclock · 12/11/2018 12:03

I was merely responding to the amusing comment about festive fem fresh. I fail to see how that's anymore ridiculous than festive handwash!
I think some folk are getting angry about the wrong issue here but hey ho.

strawberryalarmclock · 12/11/2018 12:04

So you expected me to just be told to 'bore off' and not respond?
This is getting tedious.

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 12:05

Given that handwash is produced in festive frangrances and feminine hygiene products aren’t is a pretty good clue surely?

OP posts:
BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 12:06

If it’s tedious then please just hide the thread?

loveandstuffing · 12/11/2018 12:07

Bertram, what’s your budget? Is it more Molton brown or is it more Bayliss and Harding?!

willothewisp17 · 12/11/2018 12:08

Avon did a really lovely one, it was red and shimmery and smelt beautiful!

I recently bought two bottles of winter spiced bleach, the utter HORROR! Grin

I love all things christmas, anything festive or winter labelled, I want it!

BertramKibbler · 12/11/2018 12:08

I can go to Molton Brown levels, have done in previous years, but I wasn’t overly fond of the scent and they seem to do the same each year.
