BernardBlacks the Roberts radios now work as Bluetooth speakers and does various other things I’ve not investigated. DH bought me an Emma Bridgewater one and it’s easy to use and solid. Just thought I’d mention it as my parents generation all had Roberts Radio and liked the brand. May be outside the budget though.

Has anyone seen any bargains on mini Lego Christmas sets that include Santa / Elves / Snowmen etc? Doesn't have to be real Lego - and cheap as poss as it's only for a school model project?

Just been to Tesco for the Green and Blacks but the shelves were empty. Thought I’d check out the normal boxed chocolate aisle but none their either. Then I spotted an unopened box on the top “not for customers” shelf so I accosted a member of staff and she opened it up for me. Bought two for some reason when I only need one. However I feel strangely triumphant

@applepinkierainbow There are some science kits on Amazon by Galt which look nice. I ordered the rainbow lab kit when someone mentioned it in an earlier thread but I can't remember if it was cheaper than the £12.99 it is selling for now. Looks ideal for potions!!
