Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

They also do that alpace in a more subltle golden colour with glittery ish feet.... i mean it will blend in alot easier.... you wont even know its there..... it can just sit and blend in with daily family life....... buy the alpaca folks Grin

GandalfTheGoat · 20/10/2018 20:41

Sorry, should have added - on their website.

LittleRedYoshi · 20/10/2018 20:44

There's a free Duplo toy on amazon when you spend £25 on toys. The toys need to be sold by amazon, you have to add the Duplo toy to your basket and use the code LEGODUPLO.

I'll be taking advantage of that - thanks for the info!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 20/10/2018 20:44

Cheeky ds1 got a hot wheels tracks last year. It's a wow toy to open...and hasn't been played with since. So fiddly and floppy!

Redrosebelle · 20/10/2018 20:45

Can someone repost the alpaca link? I can’t seem to find it. Thanks xx

hoopdeloop · 20/10/2018 20:50

I’m sure it was posted a couple of threads back but I can’t find it- did someone recommend a website to buy the sheet face masks from? I know you can get them in poundshops but I seem to remember someone linking to cheaper ones

Pandasarecute · 20/10/2018 20:58

Boden code gone now

whereisthatpenguinfrom · 20/10/2018 21:12

Primark has some sheet face masks, saw them today near the till

Also for anyone interested DD got a pack of 8 tiny nail varnishes in garish beautiful 5-year-old colours like yellow and blue for £2.50. Possible stocking filler?

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 20/10/2018 21:20

Primark had the holler and glow sheet masks for £1 the other day. I picked up a few for my self and the DC for pamper days. now I'm not sure if they will be ok to use them. They are 7 and 4. What do you think?

ritzbiscuits · 20/10/2018 21:25

Cheeky - my 5 yo DS is obsessed with Hot Wheels, but he does a lot of it with his Dad (staying well away!)

My son is a real builder so loves setting up and playing with the tracks. We've ended up getting all sorts of accessories for it and he's still asking for more.

Have a look at the starter set where you get it in a box that's also part of the play.

hoopdeloop · 20/10/2018 21:35

Time, I’ve got really sensitive skin and I’ve never had an issue. But if you are concerned about it, amazon sell the compressed face masks so you just soak them in a bit of moisturiser or serum and it’s the same effect

Boohissmiss · 20/10/2018 21:40

Alpaca has been purchased

MinorRSole · 20/10/2018 21:53

@CheekyFucker ds loves hot wheels - I'm planning on getting him the crate for Christmas, just waiting for the right price. If you want to spend less it is always in home bargains in some form. Smyths also sell individual pieces of track to add on.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 20/10/2018 22:10

Dd would love the giant aldi sloth!! When are they online/in-store?

SmallAndFarAway · 20/10/2018 22:15

@hoopdeloop and others: I wouldn't really rate Primark! You can buy sheet masks from Jolse, these will be much nicer and work out cheaper, at least if you buy packs of ten or if they're on sale.

I like Tosowoong for myself, for teens I'd get Etude House, Tony Moly (a bit gimmicky but beloved by teenagers) or Innisfree (which also is fine for adults).

It's free shipping on the site but beware of the import VAT threshold, it's EUR 23 here in Ireland so I'd imagine similar in the UK.

Millipedewithherfeetup · 20/10/2018 22:33

Place marking

Jammiebammie · 20/10/2018 22:34

Ugh I wasn’t going to buy an alpaca but now I need one - think I’ll go for the more subtle one (I’m laughing that a giant alpaca can be subtle!)
Dd2 has been obsessed with llamas/alpacas for years, I remember how hard it was to get things and now they’re everywhere!
I’m also contemplating the giant t-rex for my dog... is that taking it too far? He would love it Grin

CaveMum · 20/10/2018 22:39

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts Aldi Toy Sale is in store from 25th October but available for online preorder tomorrow.

Boohissmiss · 20/10/2018 22:40

Jammie your dog needs that giant t-Rex imagine how great a Christmas he will have

CaveMum · 20/10/2018 22:40

@Redrosebelle you need the leaflet from an Aldi store at the moment but they should all be viewable online from tomorrow: www.aldi.co.uk/specialbuys/browse-by-date#Mobile%20Coming%20Soon

imsorryiasked · 20/10/2018 23:07

DD9 is after a Boxer interactive AI robot toy, which seem to be £70 on Amazon. Apart from the fact I can't afford it, it seems a bit young for her. Had anyone else got one or something similar? She's not interested in coding, just likes that it rolls over cards and performs.

ja9r · 20/10/2018 23:12

So... debenhams... sale yeah.... but item I want is only a little reduced. How can I get a bigger discount?! I'm a gold card member. Item is £40. Any tips?

CheekyFucker · 20/10/2018 23:17

Thank you for the feedback about hotwheels. I feel a lot better now.

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 20/10/2018 23:25

Thanks hoop.
May cut out eye and mouth holes in a flannel for now. I told them we could have a little chill out session when we are away with masks and ice-cream etc.

Wasn't even thinking of buying a giant alpaca but after pp mentioned buying a tree for her dog I thought maybe my dog would like one. She hates dog beds. Every year mil buys her a new one and she refuses to use them. She much prefers pillows, duvets, and especially DDS build a Bear to heat her head so maybe I need one.
