Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thanks @2anddone
But it’s specifically the large ones I’m after - it’s for my dc2 and dc1 got a large one for her first Xmas so I think it would cause arguments in the future (and end with us buying even more!)
We got the large one 2 years ago thanks to this thread 😂 but at £50 (?!?!) I’m holding out for a bargain

Drummingisfun · 04/10/2018 14:12

A 100 piece marble run sounds like what I need for DS. I have no idea if he'll like it but I don't have any better ideas!

hoopdeloop · 04/10/2018 15:59

FilthyforFirth · 04/10/2018 17:10

So can someone explain camelcamel to me please?! I set up an account but I dont get how it works. Do I need to put in a price that I am hoping ig drops to?

I am after a cosy coupe for my what will be 18 month old. It is currently on Amazon for £45. Do they ever come down in price?!

Mrsmadevans · 04/10/2018 17:19

Loads of half price toys in Newport Tesco Sbytty Park one. They had most things already mentioned there , the only thing l could see OOS was the huge Stretch Armstrong. Lots of everything else.

Mammatron · 04/10/2018 17:30

@Mrsmadevans I was over there earlier, I wonder if we saw each other there!! Grin

SleeptightDaisy · 04/10/2018 17:33

Could anyone point me in the right direction? I'm wondering if Mumsnet have a page or section to sell things. I've got a few brand new/ unopened things that people have suggested.

imsorryiasked · 04/10/2018 17:49

@FilthyforFirth log in to camel and search for the item. Click on it and scroll down and there will be a graph and details of the price tracked over a proof of time including the lowest ever price and when this was. You can choose to set up Inge or more price watches.
Bear in mind though that is only for Amazon. There is another price watch site that tracks numerous stores - hopefully someone else will have a better memory than me and be able to link it!

Mrsmadevans · 04/10/2018 18:16

Mammatron l bet we did!!! l was the fat one with a top tied round my middle , just been for a long walk down Goldcliff , that's my excuse and l am sticking to it Xmas Grin, it had nowt to do with trying to hide my fat behind Xmas Grin

NeitherNowtNorSummat01 · 04/10/2018 18:36

WoahBodyforrrrm · 04/10/2018 19:30

My LOL biggie Dolmation has been delayed again 🙄 is anyone else having issues with this? I’m beginning to wonder whether it’s just going to get cancelled...

FilthyforFirth · 04/10/2018 19:32

Thanks guys! Will log back in to camelcamel and see if I can figure it out.

I do have a local Tesco superstore so will see if they have it in. Even though it is a superstore it has a tiny toy section...

Mrsmadevans · 04/10/2018 19:45

I found a cool looking tea infuser for 38p on amazon with free delivery. Good, if like me, you are putting together a tea drinkers present.

1stTimeMama · 04/10/2018 21:18

Topcashback are offering 15% cashback on The Book People orders, on top of their own 20% off deal, which is a great deal.

LokiBear · 04/10/2018 21:45

Attempting not to look at this thread as ive already spent (and saved!) loads and we are away for a few days over half term. I just cant help myself....

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 04/10/2018 21:47

@filthyforfirth I bought a little tikes cozy coupe last year in a Debenhams toy sale but I don't think it was any less than £45, I think that's a good price.
If you do get one please don't make my mistake and leave it until Xmas Eve to try and put it together. Nearly ended in divorce. I can see the benefit in buying these things second hand!! Oh and use a hairdryer!! That was the best tip we found on YouTube in the end!

winewolfhowls · 04/10/2018 21:57

@merrytwinkletoes I know you asked for bath sharks, but have you seen the big cuddly sharks in IKEA. My two year old loves his and it sleeps in bed with him.

vroc81 · 04/10/2018 22:17

@filthyforfirth I got the cozy coupe for 27.50 on Amazon in November 2016... just scrolled back through my orders to check. Tesco also used to sell off cheap after toy sale as they take up too much space although Tesco does seem to have dropped toy stocks..
