Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Was there a code for the gloves please or is it just the 10% welcome discount?

MerryTwinkletoes · 28/09/2018 13:26

Ignore me! There's a link on the welcome email to get lucky dip gloves for £16 for anyone else struggling to think straight today....!

margaritasbythesea · 28/09/2018 13:30

Thanks Carrot an. Gah i missed it. I'm looking for a nice chess set for dh.

CarrotVan · 28/09/2018 13:33

This is a code for the Jaques chess set if anyone who doesn't have Facebook can use it. Not sure if it's unique to my email or not though!

margaritasbythesea · 28/09/2018 13:50

Thanks for your help CarrotVan and EverybodyKeepCool. The code didn´t work for me. I am now exchanging messages with them via FB!

EmGee · 28/09/2018 14:11

My Dds have started pony lessons this year. Any ideas where to get nice horsy stuff for them for Christmas - I was thinking of helmets. We’ve looked in Decathlon but wasn’t that impressed.

Shakespearesglobe · 28/09/2018 14:15

I have had 2 codes from jacques but neither seem to work - I am putting them in the promo code bit on amazon - is that not correct?

Drummingisfun · 28/09/2018 14:19

Can anyone suggest a cunning solution to this please?
I am desperate for an m+s cashmere
Zipped hoodie in grey as my xmas present from DH. Unfortunately it is put of stock online and in all store within a 300 mile radius of my house. I have called them and asked if they will transfer stock from another store and they said no Sad
Is there any way I can get my hands on it short of driving a 600 mile round trip?

insertimaginativeusername · 28/09/2018 14:22

Can you link it drumming?

Do you have friends or family further away that can check local stock for you and post?

margaritasbythesea · 28/09/2018 14:33

I did it a few times and it didn´t work Shakespearesglobe and then I tried on my mobile and it did. It wasn´t the code above BTW. I couldn´t get one that would work on the chess set.

flooredbored · 28/09/2018 14:38

EmGee it is best to have riding hats fitted. Maybe if you are getting the skull cap type hat you could get wrap up some silks?

Just got the Lego outdoor adventures pack on John Lewis for £25.97. Much cheaper than anywhere else including Amazon www.johnlewis.com/lego-city-60202-outdoor-adventures-people-pack/p3575442?sku=237318242&s_kwcid=2dx92700037018325200&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIspSytO7d3QIVzLztCh1qGQhfEAQYASABEgLvfPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Drummingisfun · 28/09/2018 15:44

bearbehind thanks! they must have uploaded stock literally minutes after I last checked. Even the lady on the phone said there was no stock. Off to order.
Anyone got an m+s discount code by any chance, as it's eye-wateringly expensive?

SimplyPut · 28/09/2018 15:54

Fabulous unicorn bargains in my local national trust shop earlier. Small toys £4, plaques £1.49, pencils 50p.

vroc81 · 28/09/2018 16:01

Em Gee - is it somewhere they are allowed to groom in which case a little grooming bag and brushes, small bag of treats (though check with rising school ok to give them one or two after lesson) nice coloured kids jods (depending on age) horsey hoodie.. I used I use Robinsons but not sure how they are now owned by sports direct but millbry hill gives good cashback through Quidco and eBay is often good for new things..

WaitingForEgg · 28/09/2018 16:02

Drumming I have 20% off but it’s linked to my sparks account, so you have a sparks card?

Theres also some great deals on at the Book People - a four pack of Good night' board books for £5.99 Goodnight Tractor etc - I had just bought one from Amazon for £5.20 - I asked Amazon to return it and they refunded me but said I didn't have to return it so that was good! EPIC30 gives 30% off too

tentative3 · 28/09/2018 17:05

Hi @sunshinerobots, there's a referral thread for people to use referral links, it should be linked on the previous page of this thread I think, if not it's probably been bumped to the front page of this board by now.
