Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@waitfornothing oh no we have ordered the same ones, how long after did they cancel your bookmarks?

Tiggles · 25/09/2018 17:19

Meh my music bookmarks were cancelled but apparently the stickers are dispatched.

Tiggles · 25/09/2018 17:21

Singing it took about 2 hours for my order to be cancelled

MsMiaWallace · 25/09/2018 17:36

I got a £5 sloth from Smyths today too! Very cute. I just bought 1 for youngest DS. Thinking maybe I should have bought a monkey for other DS!!

Notlongnow1 · 25/09/2018 17:48

20% off at Hobby Craft Friday and Saturday for club members using HCC20 online or scanning the barcode they should have emailed to you. There are lots of lovely advent calendars Smile

margaritasbythesea · 25/09/2018 17:52

Thanks PurpleTigerLove

I've just had an email advertising Argos 342 starting tomorrow. None of the toys I want have risen in price so I am expecting that they won't be in. Hmmm

lifelongfrugaleer · 25/09/2018 17:53

AlwaysPottering · 25/09/2018 18:08

Dolceandgabana14 how about some shortbread in the tins & some tea bags

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 25/09/2018 18:13

I've got an order of Lego and another order of 2 pomsies and and art set, waiting to collect at Argos tomorrow.

How will I know if it's all on the 3for2? Just look at the individual items tomorrow? This is my first time doing it sneakily

AdamBarlowsQuiff · 25/09/2018 18:15

To the person looking for non slim fit kids PJ's, we had some nice button up ones from Gap last Xmas. They also do quite roomy nighties. You get 40% off all full price clothing at the mo with the code NOWGAP.

Singingitoverandoverandover · 25/09/2018 18:46

nuttynutjob · 25/09/2018 19:01

Smyths have a £10 off per £50 sale

starryeyedsnowgirl · 25/09/2018 19:03

This planning on buying an echo dot- I noticed today on Amazon that a new version is due out on the 11th of October. Don't know what the difference is, but I suspect that the old one will be available discounted shortly as the new one is £49.99 (probably less on Black Friday)

gaggiagirl · 25/09/2018 19:17

The EDF deal is pretty good. Big echo and little dot £89.99.
Im waiting to see what black Friday will bring though. Since the new generation of echo shows are imminent, surely the first Gen ones will be reduced.

TheHammaconda · 25/09/2018 19:23

Thanks @Mel3383

DS was desperate for that Harry Potter set. He'll be delighted to get it!

MsMiaWallace · 25/09/2018 19:43

Ooo what's the edf echo offer?

starryeyedsnowgirl · 25/09/2018 19:54

Lyle and Scott have a sale on and these is an extra 20% off with codeSHHHEXTRA20 here and free delivery if you spend over £20

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 25/09/2018 20:27

I’ve received my Lisa Angel order and I have to say, I’m quite disappointed even for the price I paid.

I ordered 5 different bangles, all of which are tiny...I have slightly wide wrists so not especially unusual for a bangle to be a bit tight but DM has tiny wrists and they don’t fit her. The necklaces are really rubbish quality and the earrings are bent.
I’ve emailed them to return them but I’m unfortunately stuck with the personalised items

woodwaj · 25/09/2018 20:32

Mrsmia edf have sent me a code for an echo and a dot for 89.99!

EverybodyKeepCool · 25/09/2018 20:43

Been to Costco tonight and the wrapping paper/ribbon/bows etc are out plus loads of toys and Christmas trees

Finally got to an m&s, got some Black Forest gateaux liqueur 😍

Does any one have any wise ideas for a present for my mum? She's late 50s and definitely deserves a treat as she's had a shit year! However I am limited to about £20/30 budget
