Was in home bargains earlier and it’s worth a look, some really good buys. I seen this 3d printer £9.99 photo attached. And pandemonio board game that is much pricier else where was only £3.99?!

To the person after mr men stuff they also have puzzles in tins of mr men(attached) £1.99. And B&M today had in there xmas gift type section, mr men and little miss bath sets and mugs etc.

Thank you to the poster who mentioned the £2.99 minecraft handbooks in B&M aswell. I got a few! My son will love them.

Oh thinking of Harry Potter Audible books my dd wanted them a few years ago.

I took a free audible subscription and got the first three for nothing, cancelled, took the 3 months at £3.99 offer and got the next three for £11.97, and also noticed bought one on offer for £5.

I then got the Echo Dot for £29.99.

It’s long winded but my kids love the Echo and their are plenty of free and cheap kids books on audible so it was a worthwhile investment. And still in total came in at less than the official audio book costs.

@Enidblyton1 I reckon your best bet is either one of the eBay discount days or a Smyths 20% discount day. I got Hogwarts great hall for £72 ish on an eBay 20% off day.

MorbidMuch · 28/08/2018 17:44

Just placed my first order with toys for a pound (£20!). Thanks!

ReindeerPoop · 28/08/2018 18:01

Honey dragon, how do you use audible on Echo dot? Do you just ask for the book and Alexa finds it in your library?

Duckyneedsaclean · 28/08/2018 18:22

@Singingitoverandoverandover ah yes the extra 40/50% is just on stuff in the flash sale, and then applies automatically.

HoneyDragon · 28/08/2018 18:23

Yes. You just say Alexa play XYZ audible book and she resumes it from what ever point you are up to from whichever device you listened last. So say you were listening to it on headphones on the app on your phone, it would pick it from where ever you got to on your dot or acho and continue and vice versa.

CatsCatsCats11 · 28/08/2018 18:31

Following no idea how to do it otherwise on the app Blush

MooPointCowsOpinion · 28/08/2018 18:34

The Belle rose jewellery box arrived today, £20 down to £6.66 and it’s so big! It’s perfect for my princess obsessed youngest.

I got an email today with a huge list of discounted Sylvanian families, here’s a link to one:

seaside set £28 down from £37

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 28/08/2018 18:44

For anyone with very accounts keep an eye on your post. They regularly send me offers as my account is pretty much paid off (just use for buy now pay later large purchases). In the last 2 weeks I've had a 20% off and a £20 off a £50 spend. Just used the £20 off to buy dd1 a pusheen towel, wrapple, shopkins lil secrets doll and shopkins Polly pocket type set. Came to £34 after discount.

Just make sure it's paid in full or use take 3 payments to avoid the ridiculous interest they charge!

Enidblyton1 · 28/08/2018 18:46

Thanks Kavvlar!

Rarfy · 28/08/2018 18:52

princessbear80 · 28/08/2018 20:09

Was someone looking for the giant gnomes in Asda? Or am I getting confused with giant penguins?! Anyway - giant gnomes in store I’m my local Asda today if that helps anyone!

BadgerFace · 28/08/2018 20:25

Yes someone was definitely asking about giant gnomes (before I got everyone excited about giant penguins... Grin )

nickdrakeslovechild · 28/08/2018 20:32

Singingitoverandoverandover · 28/08/2018 20:43

**. Cars 3 advent Calendar £8 amazon

nickdrakeslovechild · 28/08/2018 20:46

Ah ok thank you Moo

MooPointCowsOpinion · 28/08/2018 20:56

Sorry Nick they’re saying out of stock for delivery, I guess we cleaned them out! Some still available in local stores at £10, and I thnk that’s a good price still, it lights up when you propel the drawer and plays a song when you push the button.

mimi14 · 28/08/2018 21:09

Thanks for all the bargains 😁

clairec87 · 28/08/2018 21:26

MsMiaWallace · 28/08/2018 21:31

Just got DS a Scooby snack attack for £8.99 off Argos eBay outlet. It's usually £25 or on offer for £15.

Also found a playmobil advent calendar for £11.99.
