@biscusting I brought personalised Christmas duvets from studio 2 years ago and they were loved by the kids. I put them on the weekend before Christmas and take them off after New Years. I only paid a fiver for them. I love the personalised stuff they do.

I was wondering about the quality of sheets and clothes. Thanks for letting me know.

I want to get some PJs for Xmas eve boxes. Haven’t done Christmas bedding before! DD1 would love it!

Mustangsallyis · 15/08/2018 15:44

Got 48 hr Royal mail delivery alert emailed to me for my magpie parcel this afternoon. Excited!

@GirlWithTheYellowHat - Debenhams give you the £5 voucher in store when you collect the order (if they have any left that is - they are subject to availability. I find it a bit hit and miss as to whether you get one)

There's a cost for click and collect unless you spend over a certain amount (£20 I think) The codes give you free click and collect.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 15/08/2018 16:13

Thanks @Heather01920

Great thread- feeling very happy with my GAP clothes for baby for his first birthday :)

Here's my input for now...
Some lovely stuff in the Oliver Bonas online sale, including some nice jewellery and purses. Some really good savings there.

Also in The Works they always do three books for a fiver and they're often a bit naff, they've got some lovely Quentin Blake books in that offer for little ones.

And lastly, in my Tesco they have Disney PJs down to a fiver from £18 - adult sizes, but lots of sizes.

I’ve just been shopping for pjs and slippers and did well at

Joules outlet on eBay - men’s slippers for a tenner, free delivery (they are same price in sale section on main joules website but you get free postage on their outlet site)

Bedroom athletics website - I bought men and women’s pj bottoms for a tenner and slippers for between £5 and £15

Lands end - they have some xmas stockings in their sale too. There are always codes knocking about for landsend - I used SSPIA18 for 25% off and free delivery (have to spend £40 but the code works on stuff in their sale)

Happy shopping!

GruffaloStick · 15/08/2018 17:39

George at asda have an up to half price sale on clothes and homeware, haven't checked it yet so not sure how good it is but might be useful to someone.
Free delivery to store too

I'm looking for a boys dressing gown & feel like I've looked everywhere with no success Sad

I've looked in M&S, Next, Boden, Peacocks, M&Co, Asda, Sainsbury's & on eBay but nothing is what I'm after.

I would like a simple cozy boys dressing gown age 7 - 8 years. Not themed for around £10.

If anyone sees anything please let me know! Thank you Grin

MorbidMuch · 15/08/2018 19:04

Jurassic Girl, would any of these at Debenhams suit?

sherbertdibdab · 15/08/2018 19:28

@JurassicGirl not the cheapest but John Lewis has some link here

OhHolyFuck · 15/08/2018 19:52

Hatley moose pjs are less than a fiver as an add-on item in sizes 2 and 3

ADuckNamedSplash · 15/08/2018 20:25

Baileystruffle - Took advantage of the giraffe comforter deal for DD (she loves giraffes) - thanks!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 15/08/2018 20:26

I can't see the Gap code please can someone repost it if possible

OhHolyFuck · 15/08/2018 20:31

Melissa and Doug shape sorting safari truck is half price (£8.50) at mothercare

JurassicGirl · 15/08/2018 20:31

Thank you Morbid sherbert Gruffalo for all the dressing gown links! Found the perfect one in Debenhams for £13 which is just right :) another thing ticked off!

Thesearmsofmine · 15/08/2018 20:38

Popped to Poundland today but no Playmobil blind bags in ours. They had the Thomas ones and some Hit Wheels cars (ones I hadn’t seen before) which my boys always love getting in their stockings.

Home Bargains have great stocking filler bits too, little games, wind up toys, funky pens etc. They also have Bananagrams which was either 4 or 5 pounds.

MorbidMuch · 15/08/2018 20:49

Glad you found one that you liked, Jurassic!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 15/08/2018 20:59

DD1 has decided that her whole Christmas list is all about LOL dolls, LOL lil sister and LOL pets - I’m completely confused as to what series, confetti? Spy? Plus where is cheapest to buy? All advice gratefully received!

I also need the playmobil aquarium preferably cheaper than £37...

Spam88 · 15/08/2018 21:19

My snitch bracelet arrived today and frankly it's amazing 😂 quite big though, so I don't think it will actually fit the intended recipient. I know plenty of HP fans though so it'll definitely be used for someone (or kept for myself...)
