Popped into Sainsbury's on my way home from work today and bought myself an outfit Ive had my eye on, some underwear and a few other bits all with 25% off.

Next on the list is a padlock for my purse to stop me spending money!

@ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual price history doesn't come up on camel camel camel, but similar ones seem to hover around the £11 mark with occasional dips.

@jammiebammie just wanted to say thank you for highlighting than you can order TU at Argos. I have been getting increasingly frustrated at the sainsbury website constantly crashing but just managed to order most of the outstanding school uniform with 25% off, for collection in 2 days. Very happy, thank you.

The Works have some Christmas bits on their site now. They have different slime making kits for £4.99. Also they have the 10 books for £10 offer perfect for a book advent.

My Gap order arrived today - very swift! Evidently they're well equipped for mumsnetters descending like a plague of locusts.

Picked up a few bits in the Next sale for presents - there's a lovely men's Christmas tree polo shirt and women's London tube map Christmas t-shirts and jumpers.

Has anyone heard anything about their Magpie order?

It's just that we go away at the end of the week so it will be a real pain if it's not here by then.

OhMyGod I spoke to them yesterday for a different reason and was told due to the volume of orders they were taking about 7 days to dispatch

@Pondering1 I may have shamelessly stolen the fab photo frame idea for my Dd's grandparents! And got lots of Hobbycraft stocking fillers.

I got an email from Royal Mail saying that my magpie order has been scheduled for delivery through their 48 hour service, but nothing from magpie themselves so at least they are working the way through the pile

Our trampoline net has finally broken beyond repair so I'm using it as a chance to get rid of it.

I'm looking for some garden equipment that is hopefully a bargain to replace it at christmas. Maybe a climbing frame, or maybe a balance beam or something. Has anyone seen anything?

Also for my Gap order in just in time! Apparently full price my order would have been £83 but I got it for £28!

I've had a dispatch notice for my magpie order... And the nails Inc order arrived today... Feeling smug regarding Christmas prep!

I popped into our local TKMaxx today, and they had some good offers on Magformers. I think the ‘My First Magformers’ set with wheels was £12.99 and the 14 piece set £9.99 (usually £19.99 & around £15). They also had some biggish Sylvanian sets, although I’m not sure how good a price they actually were.

I think the playdoh 20pots that come in a bus box on Amazon for 10.99 (search -Play-Doh Hasbro A7924EU6 Super Paint Set, Plasticine, pack of 20) is good value as they are 84g pots I think. You get 1.68 kg for 10.99 rather than 1kg for 7.98? So better price if you just want the playdoh but doesn't have cutters. Or the add on item of four tubs for 2.75 is really cheap 🙂

Came across these when browsing through the TKMaxx website, I reckon they'd be a good non-toy present for little Lego lovers.

Still awaiting magpie despatch here and hoping it arrives before we go away on Saturday.

Picked up the playmobil roman yesterday and it is an absolutely huge box fir £10.

Is the Roman Playmobil this year's fire engine? My two still love the fire engine (we have all three emergency service vehicles)!
