Main present for 7 year old

My dd has got a laptop

My ds has got an Anki Overdrive and a metal detector.

My DD has a microscope.

So much LEGO *smacks forehead

One of those R2D2 droid things from little bits

Dd has got a basketball net and ball. Have no idea why she wanted it but think it is a really good present now.

None of my kids has a "main present". Just lots of smaller things.

Laptop for one, ipod for the other

Just out of interest, is it 7 year olds that are getting laptops? Or older?

A bike from us and a Lego set from Santa.

My nearly seven year old has a fur real unicorn for Christmas and a kindle paperwhite and a lol big surprise for her birthday.

My 9 year old dd doesn't really have a main present lots of smaller bits.

5 year old dd has a 2ds as her main gift :)

Idance sing cube (karaoke type thing), a skateboard and an echo dot for 7 year old DD

7yo DS is getting a raspberry pi and a book on how to programme it. Hopefully that will keep him busy for a few years..

Electric guitar. Just turned 8!

A decent tablet - he wanted a Nintendo switch but that’s over our budget for this year, maybe next.

Dd (7) is getting a bike from grandparents and LOL surprise shite from us. Also baby born, Barbie stuff, cry baby .

My 7 yr old is getting Anki Cozmo robot. It was expensive and I don't doubt that it will be disappointing but he asked for it last year and didn't get it. He wrote such a lovely letter this year asking for it again that we just thought, why not? It will make him so happy.

He has already said that he will know for sure if he has it because he knows the exact size of the box it should be in. (He has looked at it in detail online) so obviously I'm going to have fun with that and put it in a huge box for him to find Christmas morning!

Laptop here (reconditioned one of my old work ones, we're not that flush!) But new kids style bag, mouse etc to look like new for dd
