A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

No, we don't do presents for (music) teachers even through the DC have been going for years, and even if the teacher's a family friend as well.

Can anyone please suggest a gift for a 1 year old girl. Something bargainous but looks like it cost more would be fab. I need it for early next week for a 1st birthday please.

Batbear, no I wouldn't either. I did for any activity they did where it was run by volunteers and for school staff as they always went above and beyond but not for paid for clubs.

I am so frustrated about the Monopoly Junior. I waited for ages and then made my order of other stiff a day or two ago! International delivery to here so it makes a big difference. Ugh.

True bargain half price Xbox game bought on Black Friday..
Logged as 'delivered to my letterbox' but most certainly wasn't..
Customer service.. problem is that Amazon itself is out of stock to re-order. They would refund for me to be able to repurchase ( from non Amazon fulfilled seller) plus £5 credit for goodwill.
No thanks says I - I don't want to pay £26 extra!
Fine, i can wait for it to come back into stock..
But it's 10 days to go and no sign :(
Really upset by this as it's on son's list but i would never have bought it at £46...

Admiral I don't know about on Amazon but the pirate ship was a similar price on Tesco and I think has been for a while. No idea for how long but worth checking if Amazon doesn't pan out.

For the pp who was looking at comics - have you looked at Forbidden Planet? Only ordered a couple of times but great selection online and they do subscriptions.

Are there any brands that do household gifts that are similar to Cath K or Orla K? Stuck on present for good friend but have known her for years so almost all presents have been bought in that time! She has a new house though so something for it might be good.

timefor my boy is one and loves bricks. There's some Galt soft bricks on Amazon for about a tenner which get played with multiple times a day. Also the fisher price pull along phone is a favourite.
