A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

Has he got whiskey rocks? Orba secent personalised whiskey glass? My dad loves loves his whiskey glass from his grandkids.

smeerf · 07/12/2017 19:05

15% off Hotel Chocolat today! Saved me quite a bit on some work presents.

IHeartKingThistle · 07/12/2017 19:09

Whisky rocks don't work! Well DH's don't anyway.

We've got DH's whisky-loving uncle a scratch-off whisky map of Scotland from Qwerkity and a whisky tasting kit from Drinks by the Dram (I think).

DoubleR · 07/12/2017 19:17

BeaLola I got a white snowflake projector from Aldi for £10

RJnomore1 · 07/12/2017 19:21

There's usually a big Thornton discount but I don't know if you've missed it @smeerf

Dozyoldtwonk · 07/12/2017 19:48

Tesco have Playmobil advent calendars down to £10.00. Lots in stock at my local store. Also 20% off all clothing for the next 4 days.

Does anyone know where I can get a giant (100g) kinder egg ?

If anyone has a £10 off a £30 spend voucher for Boden, I will be forever grateful Smile

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 07/12/2017 19:59

I saw the giant Kinder eggs down the seasonal aisle at Tesco.

WhyamIBoredathome · 07/12/2017 20:00

My mum got him whisky tasting and distillery tour two years ago so it wouldn't be very original. He has some of those non ice ice cubes but doesn't use them as apparently it kills the flavour of the whisky. He also has loads of whisky glasses.

I think whisky themed gifts are probably out. It would be so much easier if he had a hobby!

feebeemee · 07/12/2017 20:12

@WhyamIBoredathome my DF is equally hard to buy for. I'm thinking about getting him one of the Ancestry DNA kits (bonus marks for no clutter!). They have money off just now plus 10% back with top cashback.

woodwaj · 07/12/2017 20:16

I believe the large kinder eggs are exclusive to Tesco!

JammyGeorge · 07/12/2017 20:16

Just popped on to say I was wandering around the gift shop at the science museum in London tues night and they had a decent sized shelf of fingerlings of different colours, they were £20 though but if anyone’s desperate and round that area!

Coldilox · 07/12/2017 20:25

Can anyone recommend a good simple remote control car for a three year old?

WhyamIBoredathome · 07/12/2017 20:30

Ooh, feebeemee, that's not a bad idea!!

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 07/12/2017 20:57

I'm still struggling to find some good earphones in the £20-30 price range.

None of the deals and offers seem to be for audio type shops or websites

Jeffstar79 · 07/12/2017 21:40

How about tickets to a whisky festival? The Whisky Lounge do them all over the country or there's others like Whisky Live. You pay up front for tickets and then get to try whatever you like.

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 07/12/2017 21:41

SpecialAgent, there have been a few decent headphones on lightning deals (I treated myself and am using them now!)

Pumpkintopf · 07/12/2017 21:42

@WhyamIBoredathome how about an echo dot-if you have one too the dc could 'drop in' on grandpa, gives him access to news, music, recipes, weather...all in one little package! Clutter free!

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 07/12/2017 22:06

Oh bugger I forgot about lightening deals! What did you get jennifer?

(I'm looking for in-ear ones)

GinAndSonic · 07/12/2017 22:51

Still looking for the hotwheels track starter set as cheap as possible if anyone has any bright ideas for that.

Goshthatwentwell · 07/12/2017 22:58

SpecialAgent DS recommended these ones after looking at a 1000 YouTube videos. They have a nice box with a variety of sized buds too.

Llama corn - the Marc de Champagne ones? Amazingly delicious

ohmyblob · 08/12/2017 07:21

I'm massively twitching on a microbit for DS (11), No deals but does anyone know if the 'Go' package is worth getting? It has a battery pack etc. but is twice the price.

ohmyblob · 08/12/2017 07:22

Also, the Soap and Glory 'Spa of Wonder' big set is half price at Boots from today. £30

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/12/2017 07:30

Sorry @Reastie 🤣🤣
That ones down to me being a bloody idiot who STILL hasn't given it to them. But they've been sick.

However I'd like to ad PRESENT20 for 20% off at truffle shuffle. Min £20 spend. Not sure if it's been posted before but I've just taken delivery of my Polly pocket she'll shaped bag 😍😍😍
