We bought these paper birdcages as presents for birthdays recently and there were well received

cheeseandbiscuitsplease1 · 29/11/2017 20:49

My 3 year old has fallen in love with those toy cats that purr, move their tails etc. I think they are called little live pets/ furreal. I'm not sure of the brands but they are £££.
Does anyone know if a good cheaper brand or a bargain. I don't really want one that walks or anything very impressive, just a purr or miaow would do. She's only 3 so won't be fussy!

dancemom · 29/11/2017 20:50

Batbear · 29/11/2017 20:56

@Llamacorn - could you do tickets for DH's birthday? I had a budget trip to Rome for my 40th this year which was brilliant!

Letty7 · 29/11/2017 21:09

Clinique have free delivery and today you get 5 free samples with every order. If you are spending £30 the code GLOW gets you a free full size chubby stick sculpting highlighter as well. I ordered the merry and bright gift set which was reduced from £60 to £30 and got the highlighter and 5 samples for free.

Hedgyhoggy · 29/11/2017 21:21

Is there any vouchers or discounts coming up for Argos. Need to get a bit knocked off a breadmaker

FireflyGirl · 29/11/2017 21:27

@Regressionconfession have you looked at B&M or Home Bargains for flashy, spinny things? I got DS one last year from one of them, and it will have only been a couple of pound because I am tight begrudge paying a lot for that sort of tat.

Fork2fork · 29/11/2017 21:29

@Regressionconfession i bought a light up spinny thing for £1.99 in the Card factory today and Christmas straw cups with watery glittery sides for £1.99 from Home Bargains yesterday. Sorry but I don’t know if either of those are online

RJnomore1 · 29/11/2017 22:17

Been working lots and dashing in and out sorry but @llamacorn big hugs and don't worry about EK.

Happy to help you spend your money if you would like. I'm guessing travel might be a bit difficult if you're not feeling well. Sure we can find something fab and on budget for you.

bunbunny · 29/11/2017 22:23

Lisa Angel have got deals on their Advent Calendars - some of them have 69% off, others just 25 or 40%.

There are beauty ones and jewellery ones - the latter mostly charm bracelets and/or necklaces.

Best deal - £52 to £16 for a 'luxury charm bracelet and necklace where you get to put the charms on (small pliers also included!)

Plus - if you sign up for their competition by 4 December, you get an extra 10% off - it generates a code for you when you do it.

woodwaj · 29/11/2017 22:24

Very random but does anyone have any homepride tokens they won't use?

ecofreckle · 29/11/2017 22:31

@llamacorn I just came on to say the same as RJ (although she would be much better at it than me: she is THE problem solver on this thread). There's plenty of us on here who are nearly done but hanging around. If there's any thing that you think we could realistically help with then we'd be pleased to. Just say

And, if you time in bed at a laptop could you make a this is your life photo book for the 40th? Maybe using some of the good discounts around at present?
