Please help, knowledgable people...

Echo Or Google Home?

Which one should we get? How do the little ones differ from the larger ones?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 26/11/2017 22:10

My DH just came into the living room all smug to tell me how he's just got 5 runners world magazines for £5 Envy
Any clue if Hearst will let me change subscription to men's health or change the date?
I told him I ordered it earlier in the week.

woodwaj · 26/11/2017 22:17

I've just had an email from rocket and rose with a code for 10% off valid till the 30th Nov (code NOVEMBER)

ReindeerPoop · 26/11/2017 22:18

Can anyone help with this random request? Grin my cousin is looking for a micro RC tank and can't find one anywhere... has anyone seen one on their travels? TIA

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 26/11/2017 22:19

NeverSurrender · 26/11/2017 22:21

Playmobil has 30% off over £85 apparently but I can't get it too work! Anyone any ideas why? My ds is desperate for the playmobil ghostbusters !

Mallowmarshmallow · 26/11/2017 22:24

Girlwiththeyellowhat

In the bottom line of the attached picture, it seems to suggest you'll be able to switch to a different magazine. Good luck.

@girlsyearapart, I think I saw some unicorn onesies in Morrisons today

jenniferl1983 · 26/11/2017 23:08

Lottie doll 'Birthday Girl Sophia' on an Amazon Lightning deal at £10.33 instead of £18.99. Think it ends in at 11.45 (can't see the time it ends now I've ordered one).

Pinkpiglet · 26/11/2017 23:25

Does anyone know, will the British Gas Smart Christmas lights work without me having to buy any other hive things?
Thanks

yellowsun · 26/11/2017 23:27

Spelling- definitely echo. We have both and echo is much better. There’s lots that the google Home can’t do yet. We have a dot plugged into speakers. If you want to play music, you’ll need to do that or get the full size one.

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 26/11/2017 23:35

Thanks @LostMyRubySlippers 🤞Flowers

TroubledTribble28 · 27/11/2017 00:23

www.littlenuttreetoys.uk/checkout/ This website has bamboo painted letters with animals on them that correspond to that letter (K for kangaroo etc) £1.50 each and apparently free delivery, also free delivery on a few other items in the clearance section. Maybe a good stocking filler for a young baby? (To go on a bedroom door or something)

Notgoodtogo · 27/11/2017 00:37

Thanks so much for all the ideas so far. Does anyone have any great ideas for grandparents who live abroad and are in their 70s? They live in a very small apartment so not loads of space for stuff. Thanks!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 27/11/2017 01:16

Notgood how about making a hamper of foods they couldn't get over there? Depends where they are so you would have to check for restrictions, but it's thoughtful, can work it to your budget and it's consumable so won't be taking up space

Tiredmumno1 · 27/11/2017 01:26

I don't suppose anyone knows of any Debenhams promo codes?

TheWildOnes · 27/11/2017 03:10

Another one who recommends a mi band here. I started off with a fitbit flex but battery was shocking. The mi band does more and battery lasts weeks/months and cost less than £15.

TheDrsDocMartens · 27/11/2017 03:34

Ive a jawbone up, very basic but there’s other models.

Blu123 · 27/11/2017 06:09

ReindeerPoop I got this mini RC tank from MenKind last Xmas for my DS. I would recommend it.

Hive bulbs will need the hive hub to route them through.

girlsyearapart · 27/11/2017 06:41

Thanks shebe but we don't have a Morrisons near or a peacocks for whoever suggested

Fridayfun · 27/11/2017 07:52

Thanks @TimeForMy10thCuppa. I'd appreciate that.

AgnesBrownsCat · 27/11/2017 08:40

Today is the last day to get the nutcracker with a £60 spend in the Lego website . I bit the bullet last night and ordered the Christmas train . Don’t forget quidco or topcashback . Quidco was 11% last night but think it may have ended .
