Jed we also have underfloor heating and there was the memorable year I managed to leave 8 selections boxes, a hotel chocolat hamper, 2 Thornton’s hampers and a bag of stocking chocolates

All melted...then we had a cold March and I did the same with the Easter eggs that year 😩

On the lookout for a dash cam for DH anyone seen any that are a bargain but still give good quality images?

DragonmotherKhaleesi · 22/11/2017 13:58

Checking in! Thankyou so far everyone :)

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 22/11/2017 13:58

MrsCrimbo74 yes that is the exact one.thank you. I have no idea how you found it that quickly. I have spent ages looking for it.
That costs a little more than i wanted to spend unfortunately.

LegoPiece 😂😂😂

I managed to melt a bag of snacks in the car last weekend - it was proper freezing and I had a bag of snacks at my feet in the front footwell but the hearing in the car was up high. I offered the DC a snack about 2 hours from home and realised even the cereal bars were too soft to eat! The chocolate items were totally inedible - the bag of digestive nibbles were just one big lump!

trixymalixy · 22/11/2017 14:02

ooh, a dash cam is a great idea fir my dad, thanks for the idea clarabella!

Scoleah · 22/11/2017 14:03

Checking in! Thank you for new thread Grin

Uptheduffy · 22/11/2017 14:03

tempted by a ps4 bundle from Very for 229 with 10% further off - but could it come down further? So frustrating!

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 22/11/2017 14:05

My jumpers have arrived and look great.

A non Christmassy bargain for any of you that use the ‘breathe right’ nose strips that cost a fortune. I took a chance on some from Ali express and they are great. Some own makes don’t work well but these seem decent. £2.50 for 50 I think.
Look what I found on AliExpress

Thank you to whoever mentioned the Hearst magazines 5 for £5 offer. TCB are still offering £4.20 cash back on them, so you can get the subscription for 80p, and to start after Christmas.

Anyone who isn't a member, if you get referred you get a £5 Amazon voucher and your referrer gets £20 credit. I know there was a furore about this discrepancy earlier, but this seems to be a fixed offer. If anyone wants referring, PM me, or else there's a separate referral thread and someone will be able to help.

Thank you so much for the Woolovers deal, mine arrived today and they fantastic.

Right I’ve checked my Xmas lists and it seems I am done for the dcs Grin
I am, however, completely stumped for DH. His birthday is mid December too so I need to come up with 2 lots of presents. Trouble is he generally buys whatever he wants so there’s nothing left for me to get him. He did drop a hint about a drone but I know nothing about them. All I know is he wants it with a camera - he did see one that you somehow link to your iPhone so you can see live what the camera is seeing. Any recommendations?

Also needs idea for my mum. She is a very energetic and active 68yr old. I’ve bought her vouchers for afternoon tea / spa days in the past. She already has national trust and English heritage membership. Only idea I have so far is voucher for “Go ape” or similar (she did the junior go ape course with me and the dcs in the summer and loved it so I’m wondering whether to send her on the big “adult” version?) any other ideas welcome!

Theonlyoneiknow · 22/11/2017 14:38

Checking in! A colleague asked me if I had downloaded the app which tracks how much you spend on Amazon (for example) hell no ! Confused

Jedbartletforpresident · 22/11/2017 14:40

Jings Theonlyoneiknow can you imagine?!?! I cannot even imagine how much my Amazon addiction comes to - I do NOT need to know! 😂😂

Haudyerwheesht · 22/11/2017 14:49

@theonlyoneiknow wtf would someone even invent such a thing ??? wonders if it was dh

TellMeItsNotTrue · 22/11/2017 14:50

I once realised how much I had spent over the years on one website when they introduced points and backdated them. First reaction to seeing points was Shock Grin then very quickly Shock and a mix of Angry Sad and Envy (sick not envy). I don't think it was a wise move on their part

This is one way that I would like to live in blissful ignorance!

RosieBdy · 22/11/2017 14:50

Thorsmypup just messaged you found. The joys of committing a tidy!

RenardeRenarde · 22/11/2017 14:51

uptheduffy. Check this link For the PS4 bundle you’re after, it shows what reductions are “coming up” on Thurs/Fri.

Sittingonthetopofthetree · 22/11/2017 15:01

Hopefully someone else is having a tidy and will come across a spare Lakeland code for me as well!

Uptheduffy · 22/11/2017 15:03

Thanks so much Renarde, that’s a big help Flowers
I wish he still just wanted playmobil.. Sad
