Nocuts - since DFIL gave my 7 yr olds sharpies I thank you for your concern! Def avoid those (or at least check with the parents) - I'd say thinnish felt tip pens for the 6yr old and fine liners/gels for the 10yr old.

I'd go fineliners for both. I've got good deals in WH Smith before and they often come in a decent packet/box so they can be kept separate from other people's pens!!! (Very important!)
