Thanks to the Mumsnetters with offers of the Next referral codes. So if I were to refer my husband could we both get £20 off? Or is it one per household?

Hadiever · 14/11/2017 09:49

Thanks for advice about checking M&S am hoping to pop into town later

I am after a men's christmas Tshirt with bonus points if it features a Peppa or disney character in size large.
Also after a women's top/jumper long enough to wear with leggings. The sparkler/glittery /Christmassy the better!!

Uptheduffy · 14/11/2017 10:11

@AutoCat thanks for marble run info that was on my list! Have bought an extra one for present cupboard

BlackandWhitepostcards · 14/11/2017 10:22

Oh gosh these threads are moving waaay too quickly for me to keep up 😱
I have bought my dd a minecraft annual and umm, that's pretty much it. Starting to stress a bit now. Dd2's bday is Christmas Day too! and I've usually bought for everyone by now!
Anyway, code TOYTUESDAY gives you 24% off at the Disney store until midnight today. Sorry if it's already been posted, I'm so behind.

DillieDoily · 14/11/2017 10:22

@jedbartletforpresident I’ve sent you a PM about your Islabike ... thanks

SymphonyofShadows · 14/11/2017 10:24

Does anyone know what the Boots Soap and Glory big deal will be this year? I'm guessing it's Spa of Wonder but in the past someone with insider info has told us.

Scoleah · 14/11/2017 10:25

Not sure if it has been posted but Landsend has an upto 75% off sale on. Spoke to CS as had issue with my order and was given a Promo as Goodwill. Code WARMER gets you £10 off £40 spend with free delivery! (Not sure if it will work for everyone but I assume it would!) Grin

ItStartedWithAKiss241 · 14/11/2017 10:40

allhallowseve £50 for the burger truck from Argos online using “fisher 25” and “flash 20” at the checkout x

Dolphintrainer · 14/11/2017 10:43

@PersisFord - how about a wool winder? I knit and I treated myself to the KnitPro wool winder. It’s really easy to use and if you re-wind a bought ball of wool with the wool winder it makes it into a cake/patty ball that is a joy to knit with as you don’t have to yank the yarn off the ball and have the ball roll around. It’s a great piece of kit, stores away in a small box only about 8 inches square, and probably something she hasn’t bought for herself.

This is my first time posting but I love this thread.

AtSea1979 · 14/11/2017 10:45

This thread is moving too fast. Has anyone bought a unicorn fingerling from prettyunicorns.co.uk? They seem to have them but not sure if they are real ones and when delivery will be.

MrsLannister · 14/11/2017 10:47

After all the talk about selling on bikes, I'm jusr looking for advice about how much you would charge for barbie dolls and such like. My DD has a massive laundry basket of Barbies, mostly branded and Disney dolls with lots of monster high...I was thinking about selling them on Facebook. Would you charge £2/3 a doll?

DillieDoily · 14/11/2017 10:50

Can anyone recommend any Nintendo DS games for a 6 year old? I’m thinking a Pokemon or Lego type game but I am clueless (and he’s never had a DS before)

Casablanca78 · 14/11/2017 10:53

@AtSea1979 - no they won't be genuine fingerlings. They are exclusive to Toys R Us so real ones can only be bought from there.

trixymalixy · 14/11/2017 11:07

if there are still any m&s codes available I'd be really grateful for one?

Allhallowseve · 14/11/2017 11:08

@itstartedwithakiss241 thanks so much I just ordered! Knew I could rely on this thread really didn't want to pay more than about 50 quid!

Wenchelda · 14/11/2017 11:12

Aargh! Not Xmas related but definitely need a bargain ... just realised I need 2 x birthday presents for Saturday ... both girls, who will be turning 8. They are DS’s classmates and he was no use whatsoever when I asked him what they might like. So I don’t know their interests. I need something I can buy either on Amazon prime or in local town which has the usual supermarkets, primark, stationers, boots, superdrug etc. I had a quick look in tk maxx, the Range and Tesco this morning but nothing caught my eye. I have no idea what 8yr old girls like - I’m guessing not army tanks, which is what my DS likes at that age! Grin Any ideas please? Small budget of around £5 each.

PumpyMcPumpy · 14/11/2017 11:20

Don't think this thread should turn into a buyong/selling second hand toys thread

CatLadyInTraining · 14/11/2017 11:20

@trixy I have PM'd you an M&S code. Have a few more (20% off, valid 16-20 November). If anyone else wants, please PM me. First come, first served.

Oreocrumbs · 14/11/2017 11:21

Wenchelda, the works have a lot of toys on 2 for £10.

I’ve been buying glitter body art sets for 8yr old parties. They have lots of other sets like perfume etc I’ll attach a pic.

Wench you usually can't go wrong with stationery for 8 year old girls.

PumpyMcPumpy · 14/11/2017 11:22
