THANK YOU to whoever suggested telling DD that elves can’t make good stuff if the original is bad. We had a chat today and a good look at a catalogue...and she is now going to ask for a leopard beanie baby. She has MILLIONS of soft toys....but it’s much more in budget, she will love it and best of all, nothing to break/lose!
Ok, your next challenge is my mum. She loves her grandchildren and travelling and knitting. Has so much personalised jewellery/footprints/fingerprints she rattles when she walks. Every mug in her house has some little face gurning out of it. She gets a photocalender every year from my brother. Doesn’t drink. Is going away for Christmas so something small and portable preferably. Her walls are papered with canvas prints of grandkids, “art work”, etc.
I adore her and I want to spoil her, but the other problem is that she is quite rich so buys everything she needs. I’ll get the kids to make her something but I would love to get her a nice present. Last year I got her a cardigan with a silk back from joules and she loves it, but can’t do the same again. She is v beautiful and looks much younger than she is.
