@persisford - a few years ago DD kept asking for a mermaid Dora but wanted it to have some extra features. I finished up telling her that santa's elves are expert toy makers but they aren't inventors. They use the plans from the shops but build the toys specially for them. So if it isn't in the shops they can't make it and if the one in the shop is rubbish then the one they make will be rubbish. It felt like a cop out but both DDs were quite happy. It means that if they ask for something odd I just tell them the reviews are rubbish and santa's version will be just as bad. It doesn't seem to take any of the magic away.

Does anyone have any experience of the Luvabella doll? DD has mentioned it, but I am at the price, plus it looks rather creepy. Is it worth the money??? (Assuming I could even get one as they seem sold out everywhere despite the huge price.)

Agggrrrhhh I've managed to do a double order on studio by accident. Has anyone done this and got it refunded or do I have to wait until it's delivered and pay to return it? So annoyed with myself.

Black and Blue Fingerlings now available for delivery on Toys R Us. Looks like they are periodically releasing stock onto their website as around 6am the white ones were available. I'm holding out for 2 unicorn ones though...

@Kraggle I did this last year with a Fibre optic Christmas tree, I contacted their CS and they advised they couldn’t cancel second order, I needed to return once it had arrived, but you have to pay the return delivery! I ended up selling it

Bugger that's what I thought. It's my own fault clicked back by accident but it's a £45 order. Might just have to suck it up and loose out on the money to send it back rather than keep it and try and sell the things on.

Kraggle - if you can, refuse delivery of one of the parcels. That way it will get sent back foc and you will be refunded. No good if both come in one parcel though.

@Baileystruffle I tried the code @ASDismynormality posted (READ40) on a kindle paper white and it came down to £69.99 even though I didn't have an email from amazon or anything so give it a try. Sadly READ60 didn't work for me. I don't need one so I haven't ordered, but worth a shot if you do.
