@ Silvertap how about getting a Marks and Spencer advent calendar and splitting up the contents, if the recipients are mostly adult ladies? (wouldn't work if this is for small kids of course)

for small kids, small Xmas colouring books and small packs of crayons might be doable for that, or individual books from the book people?

Silvertap how about mini jigsaw puzzles? Tesco do great quality character 42 piece ones for 50p which would suit older kids.

Home bargains is great for small value presents- last week they had a4 size crayola colouring books that came with 5 markers for 99p.

if you want something crafty the works have lots of christmas craft sets for £1. They have had a few 25% codes recently as well so you could do them even cheaper.

Or you could just do selection boxes? My daughter would be delighted to receive one of these along with a book.

Has anyone been able to successfully use the £10 voucher from Currys for the Instax fiasco?

It isn't accepted in the voucher code box and although it has the correct number of digits etc. for the Gift Card box, it hasn't come with a pin.

I've emailed Customer Services, complained via FB, and still no resolution

Aaah I've left it much later than usual and now seem to have missed most of the codes I needed!

I need:

@shebebutlittle I had trouble with the currys free £10 voucher, but did manage it by clicking on a link in the email and then found the pin. It was really complicated to get it to work. Got a Bluetooth speaker for £12.99 delivered so only paid £2.99

Can I ask you all what you're putting in your advent calendars this year? I have 3DC and only one homemade advent calendar so I need small gifts as need to fit 3 in each drawer! (They are each getting a lego advent calendar too) Last year I did choc coins, lego characters, £1 coins, bouncy balls & sweets! Has anyone got any other suggestions?

At sea, the works have one for £4 which comes in a little box. Its a more grown up design though but still v pretty.

Sounds a bit weird but mine are getting crystals/rocks in their advent calendars (bought assorted from ebay). They're quite into rocks and some of them are also rocks in Minecraft. They'll have a little collection each by the end.

Mine are 11 and 8 though so maybe not for littlies!
