Just a reminder that if anyone's ordering any kawaii stationery or scarves or or reusable shopping bags or any of the assorted gubbins that you order through ebay but that's coming from China or similar, then it's worth going onto ebay.com and checking the prices through there...
Lots of the items that are priced up at 99p on the UK site are priced up at 99cents on the US site or 99 canadian cents on the canadian site (I went to the US site and it defaulted to canadian which is how I discovered the canadian prices).
This means that they are much cheaper - 99 US cents is about 83p, 99 Canadian cents seems to be about 60p. Even when using a normal credit card that doesn't offer a great exchange rate, you normally end up with a much cheaper product.
Example - cute post its are 99 canadian cents but 99p if you buy them through the uk ebay. And they're the sort of thing that will often cost £2-5 if you buy them from a stationery shop in the UK.
In the past I've bought handfuls of the stationery to give as presents to several teenagers - if you have 5 teenagers to buy for, given them 10 things each, instead of it costing about £50 for a haul that would cost £100+ if you bought it in the UK, you can get it for about £30 and have some very appreciative teens who think you have really spoilt them
You can still use your UK login details on the canadian or american ebay sites, all just works seamlessly, you just get the better price. There's the odd one or two stockists that don't deliver to the UK but very few. But because it's still coming a long way, now is the time to order so there's plenty of time for delivery!
