rj I think Asos are doing a calendar, might be worth a look.
here

NoWordForFluffy · 15/10/2017 20:30

@minsmum, people can refer you to Next as long as you've not had / have an account already. I think the deal is £20 off £50 and the referrer also gets £20 account credit.

Just a reminder that if anyone's ordering any kawaii stationery or scarves or or reusable shopping bags or any of the assorted gubbins that you order through ebay but that's coming from China or similar, then it's worth going onto ebay.com and checking the prices through there...

Lots of the items that are priced up at 99p on the UK site are priced up at 99cents on the US site or 99 canadian cents on the canadian site (I went to the US site and it defaulted to canadian which is how I discovered the canadian prices).

This means that they are much cheaper - 99 US cents is about 83p, 99 Canadian cents seems to be about 60p. Even when using a normal credit card that doesn't offer a great exchange rate, you normally end up with a much cheaper product.

Example - cute post its are 99 canadian cents but 99p if you buy them through the uk ebay. And they're the sort of thing that will often cost £2-5 if you buy them from a stationery shop in the UK.

In the past I've bought handfuls of the stationery to give as presents to several teenagers - if you have 5 teenagers to buy for, given them 10 things each, instead of it costing about £50 for a haul that would cost £100+ if you bought it in the UK, you can get it for about £30 and have some very appreciative teens who think you have really spoilt them Grin

You can still use your UK login details on the canadian or american ebay sites, all just works seamlessly, you just get the better price. There's the odd one or two stockists that don't deliver to the UK but very few. But because it's still coming a long way, now is the time to order so there's plenty of time for delivery!

yumyumpoppycat · 15/10/2017 21:26

Hauder I was just coming on to say that about H&M, I managed to get it to work but it is only sale items, lots of sale bit ordered for my kids though - well worth a look .

sherbertdibdab · 15/10/2017 21:28

Haudyer it's on sale things only I think which is why it might not be working.

Personwithnoname · 15/10/2017 21:28

Can't remember if it was here or hotukdeals website that had this suggestion but I had these Clarins gift sets delivered with 6 freebie samples. And they look like lovely gifts. The samples are great too - possible stocking fillers.

I am not sure this is a bargain but there was a code for 20% off the look fantastic 2017 advent calendar in the November beauty box (there are usually codes for the beauty boxes on top cash back - e.g £6.80 off a 3 month subscription). The actual advent Calendar is a whopping £79 before the discount but beautiful and £300 worth of goodies. DP has bought me one for advent/Christmas - we don't really do presents for each other on Christmas day so it's a lovely treat but feels waaay to indulgent!

yumyumpoppycat · 15/10/2017 21:40

look fantastic beauty cal

Haudyerwheesht · 15/10/2017 21:47

Minster2012 · 15/10/2017 21:52

Changingagain · 15/10/2017 21:53

Our local Tkmaxx had various schliech sets in last week.

Pigleychez · 15/10/2017 21:57

Been hearing lots about theses LOL balls lately but neither or my DD's have mentioned them so guessing they haven't seen one yet.
Just watched a you tube video on one being unwrapped. I was kinda getting the hype of them (for kids) until they discovered that the doll spits. Why would you want a spitting doll??

If the next series is Pets ( thanks GirlWithTheYellowHat ) then im sure they will be completely into them as they are both animal mad.

Just did a The Works order with 25% off today

RJnomore1 · 15/10/2017 22:00

Yum yum what's the 20% off code??

Methenyouplus4 · 15/10/2017 22:03
