DH saw 6 of those big surprise LOL ball things with the dolls in, today at our local supermarket. £60. We are in the Channel Islands, but it's stocked mostly from Tesco products. Random I know, but you might know someone here, so thought it's worth mentioning!

Mama, I bought one in my local toys r us earlier this week. Website showed them out of stock but there were 4 on the shelf. Lady at the till was also surprised they had them in.

To be fair, he should have bought them and popped on eBay - it would've made a tidy profit! I would love to live in the Channel Islands anyway but you've made me even more envious now

I don't know anybody that is already there though so I'll keep my eyes peeled, I just tried to reserve one in Aberystwyth, not sure how i conceived I was going to get there to collect (I'm in the Midlands - Worcester) and I'm not a great driver at the best of times! But by god I'd have managed it

Someone asked about the price of dc superhero girls in Sainsbury’s. This set was £30 reduced from £60. No idea if that’s good or not. I did quite well. Bought the plastic kitchen a pp had earlier, Bosch tool bench a big car transporter with cars in. Few fashem things for stockings.

If you pay for Argos stuff when you order it they keep it for a week, rather than the day you get if you don't pay. I've done that for things I've really wanted before.
