I'd love a cow cookie jar, shame I wasn't around to see the links

Sounds interesting, captainjack Grin

I braved Sainsburys (thanks for the tip off) - all I wanted was the basket full of food as we've bought a kitchen... That was just about the only thing fully sold out in our local... So I've got two wooden jigsaws, four wooden roll along dinosaurs and three in the night garden soft toys I didn't need but no food basket! Grin

Nzou1050 · 18/10/2017 16:54

Does anyone know how long the Sainsbury’s toy sale is on? Ours was rammed so just got some playdoh but want to go back to have a proper look when it’s less crazy.

Squigget · 18/10/2017 17:14

@BuffyFairy Thanks I'll have a look at both of them.
@AgnesBrownsCat Thanks I'm hoping there's 20% off at M&S this weekend so will order then

ZIGGY911 · 18/10/2017 17:17

friskybivalves · 18/10/2017 17:38

@bigarse1 not a belle sing-a-long but if she likes Elsa my sainsbos has this Elsa Disney doll which when you wave your hand over the snowflake it responds. (No I don’t know what it means either but it’s the official blurb and there are some little bites suggesting it plays something) Down to £20 in clearance. In my trolley for now in case you want it as another bloke just took the last one.

Gaaah. Notes, not bites. Little bites sound v unattractive.

gingerbreadmam · 18/10/2017 17:48

thanks ness. i saw on martins money tips that if you print a barcode from your amazon account and top it up on a paypoint for £20+ amazon automatically add a 5a so we have done that instead.

friskybivalves · 18/10/2017 17:54

Bigarse, this Elsa doll has 40 phrases, colourful lights and more. I’m going to get it just in case as would kick myself if you missed out as I can always bring it back. Could always shove it in post to you. I’m in SW London.

WhyamIBoredathome · 18/10/2017 18:40

boden code apparently H6W6 works for
20% off - not tested myself tho
So don't hate me if it doesn't work.

OhRex · 18/10/2017 18:45

Dd has now decided she wants a blue blu dolphin more than anything in the world - any ideas? They seem hellish expensive - best bet ebay 2nd hand?? Went shopping IRL today and got a couple of good bits from poundworld plus - an interactive dino pet (bit like those live pets we all bought a couple of years ago) for a fiver and a seahorse for in the bath for the 6 yr old for 3 quid that swims....

BadgerFace · 18/10/2017 18:46

DH texted me earlier when I was at work to see if I wanted anything from Sainsbury's... I think he meant food rather than"QUICK! LOOK IN THE TOY AISLE FIR BARGAINS!!". He said there weren't any apart from some Christmas Duplo (So I may have to go back and check on Saturday...) Wink

If anyone else has a Boden voucher going I'm a bit late to ask I expect but would love one!

gingerbreadmam · 18/10/2017 18:49

i think the dolphins ate in b&m for 30ish. ive definitely seen some dolphin toy in there.

Tattybogle89 · 18/10/2017 18:52

Sorry if already posted

Half price playmobil at sports direct.
Includes £10 playmobil advent calanders!

Thinks it’s £4.99 delivery usually and click and collect, but if you click and collect they give you the £5 voucher back to spend instore so not so bad..

sports direct

bunbunny · 18/10/2017 19:01

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but I walked past Mothercare today and it seemed to have a big half price sale on.

Didn't have a chance to go in but in the window there was happyland, playmobil, cars, etc - seemed to be lots of big things £30-50 reduced to £15-25.

no idea if little/cheape toys also reduced!

But could be quiet and bargainous while all the focus is on sainsburys....

peachy94 · 18/10/2017 19:04

ohrex its £35 in toys r us and smyths in store only though

bigarse1 · 18/10/2017 19:09

@friskybivalves thank you so much - didn't see what u had written until now as I don't have a phone with internet access. that looks great and while belle is her favourite I'm sure she would love that! I'm not near u so would u be able to post? I can paypal u cost and postage if that would be ok? thanks so much

bigarse1 · 18/10/2017 19:11

another one for everyone - spoken to several people who think girl twin has an amazing memory. she is reading already, can memorise a song having heard it once and does work books on her own (not boasting as actually I'm finding it hard to keep up and give her what she wants when boy twin is taking up so much time). any ideas what to give her to challenge her? we have tons of books and do the library regularly. have plenty of work books etc but any ideas on things that are fun but challenging?

Plasticgold · 18/10/2017 19:13

I did ok in Sainsbury's, got Star Wars Lego for nephews and godson and a wooden xylophone/ball hitting thing for DS.

The lady in Sainsbury's said it's on until Tuesday unless they run out! My local store (Ipswich)had lots of big stuff but very little left of the small, stocking filler type toys- the aisle looked like it had been attacked by locusts!
