Thanks nocuts! Just been to look on toysforapound and unfortunately it is the "die cast" models which look v similar (with magnets) but are ever so slightly too small to go on the brio type tracks. V annoying as I'd already bought her a couple of those earlier in the year in a toys r us and didn't realise they didn't work on the tracks til recently. Ah well!

Well it's rather nice when the Sainsbury's toy sale fits in with the day I start my Christmas shopping (after the last family birthday of the year).

I was expecting inspiration for something for my baby, but most of the infant toys were unbranded tat. But there are very good deals on nerf guns - I got large ones for assorted nephews, nieces and godchildren at half Amazon price. And little Nerf jolts for my teenagers and DH's stockings for £3 each, because Christmas isn't Christmas without starting the day with bullets flying.

I also got Hatchimal Mystery mini eggs for about £4 each. They were selling fast so either bargainous or people betting they'll be in short supply.

I went to the Sainsbury’s toy sale, got there just before 8 and there was already a few people there. gingerbreadmam i think if you open the Amazon website there should be the link on the home page for the voucher discount, then you have to see if you're eligible, i.e. not bought gift vouchers in the last two years.
