@nickdrakeslovechild buckaroo was £13 I think but we then went to Home bargains and saw it for £8.99.

@LeavesinAutumn the shop was £22.50 it looks like plastic tat to me and not the Ikea kitchen I wanted to buy but dh was insistent on getting it for ds3 and as he was paying I couldn’t say no

I was a bit later to my local Sainsburys but managed to grab a few bargains. V pleased with the Lego Classic as I could see a few people with them in their trolleys but had no idea where they were. Eventually found the stand and an employee had just put two more out. Result!

Lego Classic 10704 - £19.99 (1/3 off)
Dino Valley 2 figures - £3.50 (half price)
Lego Vampire - £6.80
Shopkins Halloween £2.06
Cars 3 Micro racer £1.87

I survived the Sainsbury's toy sale. It was busy but all very polite. My local big shop had a good selection. Bit disappointed the Lego was only 20% off, they do better deals throughout the year. DS turns 4 in January and they had loads for him. Bosch tool bench was half price, hot wheels sets half price, Thomas minis set half price, marvel toys half price figures. I didn't get much for DD, galt craft sets were half price and they had a crayola spray art set half price. Stocked up on orchard toys and playdoh sets for the party present box. My store also had money off on board games.

LeavesinAutumn · 18/10/2017 11:59

any good Play Dough sets at sainsbo?

Thank you CHRISTMAS U.

I got a wooden one from asda but it was 50 in total with crates that are actually tiny, in comparison if its any consolation yours looks far better!

BuffyFairy · 18/10/2017 11:59

For the poster after a bus dress, I'd recommend Bubble&Geek who hand make clothes bubble&Geek Nor bargainous but well made. They have a London Calling fabric in with red busses on. Or try Sewing Circus.

BuffyFairy · 18/10/2017 12:00

*buses

BrassMonk · 18/10/2017 12:00

Did anyone notice the price in Sainsbury's of the hot wheels mega hauler? Held off buying it at £16 last week in case it came down at all.

DangerousMouse · 18/10/2017 12:00

That's an amazing deal - if anyone won't be using the sonos code to buy a dot I would love to relieve them of it, I hope to buy 2 dots.. and I have prime so would get a massive bargain!

Badders08 · 18/10/2017 12:05

Oooh i was thinking of a dot for ds1 (hes at that hard to buy for age!) And im a prine member too...
Any Sonos people (no idea what it is!) Who wont use their code I would be chuffed to use it instead 😁👍
I have no codes to pass on :(
I will keep my eye out when my next good housekeeping arrives...!

AgnesBrownsCat · 18/10/2017 12:11

Ok not a dress but I saw these and remembered someone's child liked buses .

Does anyone know what Orchard Toys games they have in Sainsburys sale and how good the discount is? Thanks :)

LikeSilver · 18/10/2017 12:27

Notlongnow1 I got 'Pizza, Pizza!' and also saw 'Shopping List', 'Tell The Time', one about dragons, an animal/number matching set and a couple of jigsaws.

LikeSilver · 18/10/2017 12:28

Sorry I think it was a third off. I paid £5.66 for Pizza Pizza!

Notlongnow1 · 18/10/2017 12:30

Thanks @LikeSilver 👍🏻

Ness1234 · 18/10/2017 12:35

Personwithnoname Sadly, no Range nearby, I missed the 3 for 2 with the offer at Very, so might go to the Body Shop, they have a few different beauty advent calendars.

OneoftheseBoxes · 18/10/2017 12:35

I am pretty sure Hot Wheels Mega Hauler was still £16 in Sainsbury's Toy Sale (my DS very interested in it too...)

Matilda2013 · 18/10/2017 12:35

So dsd wants her room done up as it is too babyish with princesses for her now. Don’t want to replace the bed but has anyone managed to do something with the bottom part of a bed like this? We’ve recently got rid of the castle curtains but wanted to make it look better and more grown up if anyone has any ideas?

gingerbreadmam · 18/10/2017 12:44

matilda could you buy sheer curtains from b&m or somewhere like that and make it more like a 4 poster?

some prettt lights would make it look a bit more grown up too.

Badders08 · 18/10/2017 12:46

Was going to suggest fairy lights and sheer could panels from Ikea
