Blu123 · 18/10/2017 04:54

Anonnamechangeranon - I just checked back in my emails, and I received the B-A-B email about 2 hours after the order confirmation, so hopefully you will wake up to it this morning!

WhyamIBoredathome · 18/10/2017 06:53

Can't decide if I should do Sainsburys after the school run... They hardly had any
Toys there on Monday but they are promoting around town so I guess they'll have stacked stuff up overnight.
Will it be a bunfight? I'll have my 20mo so not interested if it's the kind of thing where people start shoving.

InTheRoseGarden · 18/10/2017 06:57

Hello to any mumsnetters stood outside Sainsbury's in the freezing cold! Grin

InTheRoseGarden · 18/10/2017 06:59

Annwithnoe · 18/10/2017 07:00

dancing reindeer antlers at the works £5 reduced from £15 and WED25 gives 25% off if you spend £10. Good for secret santa or light hearted present

Betsy86 · 18/10/2017 07:01

Good luck on the sainsburys bargain hunt!!! Really wish i could que up from now haha but cant go until after school run..... and il be going there to start work and watch all the bargains fly past me lol sad times. Hoping to get there a tiny bit earlier than usual though and manage to get some bits!!! Xx

NoWordForFluffy · 18/10/2017 07:01

We are finally having a massive Sainsbury's being built in our town. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be able to join in with toy shopping! Our current one is barely bigger than a Local and has a tiny amount of toys and no clothes in.

TellMe, thanks for the seeds heads up, I've ordered those for us as I needed to stock up!

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 18/10/2017 07:06

Can't decide whether to do Sainsbury's after the school run. MIL works there and has swapped her shift so she can be there at opening. I worked last night and just want to come home for a nap but know I'll be gutted when I see everyone's bargains.
Ours wasn't too bad last year, not many people and plenty of toys left but I feel it's been more advertised this year. Unless that's just because I wasn't on mn last year!
Ahh so undecided!

Notlongnow1 · 18/10/2017 07:11

Let us know if any good @InTheRoseGarden Can't decide whether to try and get there today!

buckeejit · 18/10/2017 07:16

Argos had moved into our Sainsbury's a couple of months ago so they've hardly any toys now ☹️

I really need to get a pink fingerling-oos everywhere ☹️

peachy94 · 18/10/2017 07:28

yumyumpoppycat crazy isn't it! Luckily I don't have to buy it, managed to dodge plastic tat so far DS only wants Lego and DD is a baby but I'm sure as she gets bigger there will be requests for all sorts, why is there sooooo much plastic tat aimed at girls Hmm can't get to Sainsbury's till after the school run either there's 2 decent sized ones near me but then a massive one about 20 minutes away am I crazy to do all 3?

margaritasbythesea · 18/10/2017 07:30

Monopoly Empire down to 13.50 on amazon.

Mountsnowdon · 18/10/2017 07:33

#buckeejit pink fingerlings are available to preorder at the entertainer with an estimated dispatch date of 31st October.

yumyumpoppycat · 18/10/2017 07:44

phew peachy! Good luck with your Sainsbury missions.

InTheRoseGarden · 18/10/2017 07:47

Sainsbury's toy sale - a little disappointing but some bargains (I think - need to do some googling!)

I picked up:
Crayola Spin Art Maker - £15 reduced to £7.50
Play-doh Magical Oven - £25 reduced to £16.66
Dobble - £12 reduced to £9
Orchard Toys Match and Spell - £7 reduced to £4.66
Lego City 60165 (Coast-guard truck and dingy) - £20 reduced to £16
Elefun - £25 reduced to £18.75
Vtech Pop and Play Elephant - £40 reduced to £20

There were people walking around with Hatchimals but I didn't look at the price unfortunately.

There was a Little Live Pets Lil' Mouse Deluxe Play Trail - £60 reduced to 30

I've got a photo of the Lego display. I'll post it in a moment!

InTheRoseGarden · 18/10/2017 07:51

rosegarden sounds like you did OK.
Did they have a lot of Orchard toys stuff? Was debating some of their games for DS.

InTheRoseGarden · 18/10/2017 08:04

Whyam yes quite a few. They had a set of 4 bestselling Orchard Toys games in a box on one of the ends. I didn't see the price but there were already a few gone so maybe good?

InTheRoseGarden · 18/10/2017 08:12

Here's my price comparison to amazon:

Crayola Spin Art Maker - Sainsbury's £7.50 Amazon £17.49
Play-doh Magical Oven - Sainsbury's £16.66 Amazon £19.99
Dobble - Sainsbury's £9 Amazon £9.99
Orchard Toys Match and Spell - Sainsbury's £4.66 Amazon £5.60
Lego City 60165 (Coast-guard truck and dingy) - Sainsbury's £16 Amazon £15.98
Elefun - Sainsbury's £18.75 Amazon £21.77
Vtech Pop and Play Elephant - Sainsbury's £20 Amazon £36.99

crumbsinthecutlerydrawer · 18/10/2017 08:12

buckeejit Our Sainsbury’s has a small toy section now, thanks Argos! But I asked and they said they were having 15 pallets ordered in over last weekend specially. Might make a detour home after school run.

Jennywallpaper · 18/10/2017 08:13

@AlwaysOldBeforeMyTime I just tried the 20% off on top of the 10 for £10 but it wouldn't work for me, is there a way to do it?

Squigget · 18/10/2017 08:17

*@Barbeasty Thanks for that, I'd had a look on etsy but not found anything previously. Not sure the mustard colour and red quite go together but it's a good back up if I can't find anything else. Flowers

OhHolyFuck · 18/10/2017 08:21

I've just bought a evoucher from seek for Starbucks but I need it as an actual gift card, does anyone know if there's a way of doing that?
