thank you for your lovely words. I do try and remember that it isn't their fault and that life must be horrid for them and its our job to make it as best as we can. wish they would sleep as it would make it easier to cope in the day - they have never slept through, only once slept for 4 hours, generally take 3 or 4 hours to go to sleep and are awake within the hour. until 2 months ago we were feeding hourly. but you lot have given me some fab ideas and I'm determined we will have a good xmas, we will just have to do it our way and if that means in the nude with ear defenders on then so be in. every xmas since they've been born they have either been in hospital or been on the verge of being admitted. trying to get as organised as I can so then my time can be on them and helping them be calm (and also giving out other child a lovely time). my husband thinks they wont go back to school after half term so id like to finish shopping this week.
if anyone sees the sing a long belle from beauty and the beast cheap could they please shout. my daughter would be overjoyed with it and asda cut it down to £20 but I missed it when dealing with them and I cant find it near that price now. thanks again

@OctopusArmEnvy what about something like this for your DD? My 4 year old has one (bought from Home Bargains a few months back) and loves it. The hairdryer wouldn't actually be strong enough to dry anyone's hair, but it does whirr and blow a little bit.

deepblue my dd wants horsey stuff for Christmas so I've ordered this stable she's always watching videos on YouTube of someone called honeyheart something-or-other who is mad about Breyer horse stuff so I know she'll love it.
