peachy94 when I bought DS microscooter the cheapest was actually our local indie retailer. I think they sell onlinr actually so might be worth a look, they are called crucial BMX ( but they sell scooters as well as bikes)

RJnomore1 · 16/10/2017 10:09

Aww!

If I hear I will let you know.

Iwannasnack · 16/10/2017 10:11

peachy94 I need one too and that’s the cheapest way I can find. Hoping they get some different colours in though. I want the 3 in 1 for DS but they only have pink.

Thanks @Banoffee! I'll drop it in to conversation and see if he would go for a Stormtrooper. Let's hope so, I have vouchers I could spend!

I have a plea. If anyone sees these gardening gloves in Laura Ashley on their travels pretty please would they mind picking them up for me and I'll send you the money for sending them to me? I've bought matching bits in the same pattern for mil only hadn't got around to getting the gardening gloves (the one thing mil really wanted) and now they are OOS in all the stores near me and I can't find any online. Unlikely I know but maybe someone might spot a pair when next in a Laura Ashley.

Can anyone recommend a really lovely doll for a 3 year old? Don't mind if soft/hard bodied but prefer a traditional style (not a fan of luminous pink/glitter etc). Thank you.

Mrsmadevans · 16/10/2017 10:25

carrot did you manage to get the earrings? I can't get that website to work, nothing will add to my basket, no those earrings or anything else.

cookiefiend · 16/10/2017 10:25

Sorry I am going through camel camel camel slowly. This is a good price for these little useful storage boxes-£10 for 16 little multicoloured drawer/ box things. I am going to get them for SIL who has asked for lots of little craft bits and fill up the drawers.

really useful boxes

singadream · 16/10/2017 10:28

@deepblue - how old is dd? We got my dd this melissa and doug stable which is a cheaper alternative to schleich. It is nice. www.woodentoyshop.co.uk/fold-go-stable.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwsZHPBRClARIsAC-VMPDEEyQ3oyHaukG1VC4SHftB0Smyi3GR8Cyt_uUpDek-G-q3FNRwwCcaAvxhEALw_wcB

Matalan Family Christmas Jammies are now on their website !

V reasonable price and 100% of the profits go to Alder Hey Children Hospital

Reastie · 16/10/2017 10:29

Rockchick re dyson hairdriers I can't heartily recommend ETI hairdryers, I have one and they are the same sort as my hairdresser uses. Also parlux are a well loved hair dryer brand on mn. Both are cheaper than dyson but reviews are often that they make hair smoother and dry better than the dyson.

Lego what happened to all those missing boxes? Did they all get resent?

Love the idea of a sn Christmas thread

LostMyRubySlippers · 16/10/2017 11:03

Some of the kids sizes in the Matalan pjs are OOS already!

CarrotVan · 16/10/2017 11:06

cookiefiend · 16/10/2017 11:09

@Methenyouplus4

Last year DD1 (3 at the time) got a cheapy soft body doll from b and m and also a posher hard bodied on (tiny years- which by the way is just shit) anyway the soft bodied dolls she and DD2 (age one) got have been lugged around and loved every day, but the hard bodied ones ignored. So I'd say go with a soft body.

I have wondered about something like a Rubens barn dolls this year as they are soft and weighted, but they cost about £50 and I worry about if it were neglected...
