Welcome one and all, see post two for links.

This Christmas we will mostly be watching the children spinning in bilibos with their head torches on and we will be drinking pact coffee in our Emma Bridgewater polka dot mugs

This is a referral link for Jojo Maman Bebe. It gives you a free tote bag worth £15 and me 15% off my next order. I've just bought the DC their Christmas pjs from there.

LostMyRubySlippers · 13/10/2017 10:49

redblu does it make much difference to price if you order seconds? Bit of a gamble obvs if they are for gifts but often the faults are not very noticeable..
or if you don’t need them urgently you could wait for another 2 for 30 or similar- although guess they may decide this can no longer be used with the referral code....

TellMeItsNotTrue · 13/10/2017 10:50

WhyAmI I have found that even when they are aware of these things you can put them off easily until school aged, tell them how exciting a surprise would be to ask father. Christmas for, or subtly suggest things you've already bought Wink

Advice Please re Boots Christmas Gift idea.

SIL gift is usually some kind of smelly/beauty gift. DH has a 25% off any gift and double points voucher for boots, and tbh she's the only one we'll be buying a gift from boots for so looking for something for her. Which of the following gift sets do you think is best? Or any other for around £20 at Boots that we can use vouchers on?

Sleek Makeup
Soap and Glory Makeup
No7
French Connection
Ted Baker Nails

Any help/suggestions would be great - I've also got to go into store for it too to use vouchers, damn it!

RosieBdy · 13/10/2017 11:28

I've just picked up the Guinness Book of Records for £8.99 in Sainsburys. Only £1 better than WHSmiths, but every little helps right!
Plus I finally get to contribute to the thread... Halo

Annwithnoe · 13/10/2017 11:35

Can anyone remember where to get the Lego drone that was mentioned a couple of threads ago?

I’ve just found that the Lego store online has a Pirates of the Caribbean ship for £179 whereas Amazon has the next cheapest at £199.

MissRainbowBrite · 13/10/2017 12:40

@HavingAnOffDAy thanks for using the link.
Anyone struggling to get the EB price down there's a specific order to do things. Spotty mug first, then another two. Then add the referral link then the WELCOME15UK code. That's how I got mine to work.
Just had a despatch email for mine, I ordered on the 10th.

WhycantIhavearealwand · 13/10/2017 12:57

I'm looking for something football related for a 5 and 7 year old. One always changes his mind which team the other is firm Man U. Maybe something unusual just to make sure they don't already have it. Any help would be appreciated, they are the hardest children to buy for, I struggle with their presents every year!

MissRainbowBrite · 13/10/2017 13:13

Forgot to mention my bargain find - Poundland have TY beanies of The Secret Life of Pets characters, they're the same size as Tsum Tsum's. Been in 2 Poundlands and both have them, would be good for stocking fillers for any fans.

Have read on here previous years that you can get personalised match Attax cards for the football fans..
I am looking at a magnetic league table for my DS- they have them on amazon, although few years out of date in terms of teams.
I got a Match annual in home bargains for £2 & they had a different football one for £3.
Have also seen a game advertised recently which looked similar to Subbuteo type concept but i forget where now Confused. Depending on budget could you get a game like that to share & then a small individual thing?

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 13/10/2017 13:21

Thank you! Yes I normally get them 2/3 bits each. I will take a look at all those.
