Welcome one and all, see post two for links.

This Christmas we will mostly be watching the children spinning in bilibos with their head torches on and we will be drinking pact coffee in our Emma Bridgewater polka dot mugs

Moo friends have replied and all of them had a pre-order confirmation email from smyths, sorry to bring bad news

Wait, the lol doll thing isn't a ball shape? I really need to have a proper look at it, I've just been concentrating on finding one in stock! Collecting has its advantages, you can time it so that DC don't see, friend is collecting mine for me so even better!

peachy94 · 14/10/2017 21:44

jennywallpaper I hope she loves it! I found a referral code online but it wouldn't work on sale stuff I'm still chuffed I found such a good deal though My mums wanted a radley bag her whole life but would never buy herself one managed to get one for £76 down from £169 and £7.60 cashback Grin

OhHolyFuck · 14/10/2017 21:46

Some half price burts bees sets

Haudyerwheesht · 14/10/2017 21:46

@tellmeitsnottrue no it's a half sphere so the back of it is flat.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 14/10/2017 21:59

Haudyer well if I didn't think it was a rip off before I certainly do now! Well, it was anyway from the little I know about it from the pictures I've seen I bet everyone has been surprised by that lol I would have been confused as to where the other half was when I saw it!

APaperMe · 14/10/2017 22:01

Haudyerwheesht, that's normal for the disney toys, I got some last year and it was a fabric tag.

PerfumeIsAMessage · 14/10/2017 22:08

Flowers for the LisaAngel link- had forgotten them. 6 lovely bits and bobs for dd's stocking and my step-niece. £27 delivered instead of £90. Lovely jubbly.

NoWordForFluffy · 14/10/2017 22:23

@Minster2012, I got a 20% email today, does that help?

Minster2012 · 14/10/2017 22:26

Ooh maybe fluffy! Yes please!

APocketfulOfStars · 14/10/2017 22:32

RJnomore1 · 14/10/2017 22:35

I was in Poundland today and they had lots of elf things -- not an actual elf but baby elves, elf house stickers, elf jumpers...

margaritasbythesea · 14/10/2017 22:38

I've just realised we've probably outgrown games like Guess Who. Can anyone recommend a good board game to play with a competitive 7yo and a totally anarchic nearly 10 yo.

In return I can recommend Check card games like this for younger children. We've not got that one but it's very similar. They got the rules from very young and we still enjoy playing it (especially when I let them gang up on me).

Minster2012 · 14/10/2017 22:46

margaritas not a board game but people of all ages (myself, DH & friends included with Wine & Gin) have enjoyed playing 'dobble' that I bought on a recommendation on this thread, our friend also brought it to our weekend away & 'bananagram', kids can definitely play the adult dobble & get competitive, great fun!!

TalkingOrmer · 14/10/2017 22:48

RJNoMore1 I put one of the emergency kits into the basket and then at checkout put the code in and the £4.95 was deducted.

BayeauxT · 14/10/2017 23:12

20% off everything at Sanctuary.com with code LITTLE20 and apparently free delivery if you spend over £25 (I haven’t tried it myself so hope it works!)

primitivemom · 14/10/2017 23:14

Does anyone have a Hype code at all? need to get a backpack for dd x Also the toy shop entertainer does a birthday club, you can add up to ten children and get 20% off when its a birthday. You could have birthdays before xmas? they dont need to know Wink

primitivemom · 14/10/2017 23:16

Meant to add, might help the poster looking for the puppy surprise ? they had lots of different ones for 24.99, and if you get the 20% off with the birthday club is a nice wee discount x

macnab · 14/10/2017 23:17

Iwantoneofthose thank you so much for the heads-up about the playmobil hospital at Asda. DD watched a video on YouTube of someone playing with it and was transfixed. I missed out last time so ordered it as soon as I saw your post 👍🏻 DD will be delighted!
