Welcome one and all, see post two for links.

This Christmas we will mostly be watching the children spinning in bilibos with their head torches on and we will be drinking pact coffee in our Emma Bridgewater polka dot mugs

I haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread as we had Ofsted in today 🙄.

But quickly checked my email and got a stock alert for the controversial creepy luvabella in Argos. I can collect her in 2 days!

ladymelbourne1926 · 10/10/2017 16:12

My Emma bridgewater mugs arrived today, word of warning though they did not come in individual boxes just one box with dividers in.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 10/10/2017 16:22

@Annwithnoe, I'm so pleased to have introduced someone else to Chatty Nora. I think she's fab. Just decided to treat myself to a few of her prints for our new house by categorising pictures as household essentialsBlush She does her lettering by hand so watch out for bargain originals popping up alongside the prints.

@LikeSilver, I'd second Reastie's suggestion of Harrods for special bears. If you watch their Harrods branded gifts section there are often special offers and bargain clearance items. They also do a bear of the year so you could be sneaky and buy the 2017 bear once it's reduced then pop a Christmas scarf on rather than fork out for a full priced Christmas bear!

Badders08 · 10/10/2017 16:25

I ordered on 6/10...still no e mail

Popsicle789 · 10/10/2017 16:32

Mammyaround
I paid £26.99 for the Our generation doll with red long hair and glasses from Amazon

Rockhopper81 · 10/10/2017 16:33

Snow - no bargains, just my condolences on OFSTED, I know the situation well and know it is stressful and shitty. Flowers

Wellysocksbox · 10/10/2017 16:43

Marking place 🎅

ZIGGY911 · 10/10/2017 16:45

I ordered late on the 6th. No email to say despatched but text to say courier delivering parcel tomorrow. Looks like they are honouring them.

FlowerTink · 10/10/2017 16:49

Hoping you all get your mugs

Oncandystripedlegs · 10/10/2017 17:02

Has anyone seen the hideous puppy surprise cuddly toys at a bargain price . I need two and really don't want to spend sixty quid on them !

SnowBodyforrrrm · 10/10/2017 17:03

Thanks @rockhopper word on the street is that they won't be back tomorrow Xmas Grin

DillieDoily · 10/10/2017 17:09

Is there an easy way of finding Amazon’s add on offers? I’ve had some great deals in the past but just seems to be blind luck but I am probably missing something very obvious!

Islacornx · 10/10/2017 17:23

Does anyone have any codes for notonthehighstreet.com?! After a personalised grandparent book Smile

And has anyone seen any good soft toy dinosaurs around that aren’t too expensive?

SnowBodyforrrrm · 10/10/2017 17:34

@mountsnowdon I'm trying to get those books too. The best deal I've found is for £16.99 plus £2.80 for 6 (but apparently people are only receiving 5) from other sellers on Amazon. Im loathe to pay it when I can get it from the book people so much cheaper. I've had a stock alert set up for some time so may contact them and see if they're going to get it back in stock. I'll keep you posted!

Minster2012 · 10/10/2017 17:36

Isla I also want codes for notonthehighstreet, I've been holding out for weeks now, didn't get a book through the post with a code in despite recents orders Sad

Haudyerwheesht · 10/10/2017 17:47

Fingers crossed got a LOL big surprise waste of money ball thing on pre order from smyths today. I'm annoyed with myself tbh this is the first year since having kids that I've bought the 'in thing' - kids have just never asked before or like last year I persuaded dd the hatchimals were a waste of money. No such luck this year.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 10/10/2017 17:54

@VinoTime, if you think your daughter might like an instant camera I've made lovely gift hampers before of the Fujifilm Instax Mini camera in a nice bright colour, extra film with funky borders (search Amazon, always good offers on), a kraft paper photo album and a label maker to decorate it.

You can also get fantastic accessory bundles from Amazon for the Instax Mini cameras. With a camera bag, coloured filters, selfie lens, picture frames, pegs and more for £15-20: Instax Mini bundle

CoffeeAndEnnui · 10/10/2017 18:00

Argos have pink or white Instax Mini cameras for £59.99 (£10+ less than usual price) at the moment: Instax Mini camera

RJnomore1 · 10/10/2017 18:29

RJnomore1 · 10/10/2017 18:31

Oh that's weird. I couldn't post.

Teen girl bargain. Both mine and my god daughter love mean girls (film). Pjs down to £8 in Tesco and DVD £3.20 in amazon

BeaLola · 10/10/2017 18:33

I ordered EB Sunday morning - used work email address - just checked and there are several emails concerning order including despatch email. I cam ehome today to find missed delivery so could be them. I ordered polka dot plus 2 winter creatures - the ones with the polar bear.

Playmobilpeacock · 10/10/2017 18:40

I'm not sure how to do links from Amazon but the Blo Pen activity centre is currently £9.99 down from £29.99.

Since this is the only thing DD has asked for I'm pretty pleased Smile

imsorryiasked · 10/10/2017 18:43

@Dilliedoily i use filler checker

Mountsnowdon · 10/10/2017 18:47

@SnowBodyforrrrm thank you. I keep checking the book people website but they never seem to be on there. I found some on eBay but they are about the same price as the ones you found on amazon. I hope the book people do get them back in.

Carrie76 · 10/10/2017 18:49

I also ordered on the 6th from EB, checked earlier and it said processing. Just got an email saying they're being delivered tomorrow whoop whoop!!!
