BadgerFace yes when you go to order your addresses and payment details are there, I'm in Ireland and delivery to here is about €10. If the savings are good it's worth it. I got fab Kinder advent calendars from there last year for a fiver each too.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 03/10/2017 13:48

The new Robert? £55 down to £20 at studio, free delivery code too (see photo)

cookiefiend · 03/10/2017 13:52

There is load of Lego on amazon at its best price right now according to camel camel, including Star Wars stuff. Not going to link it all (there seems to be quite a bit) but worth a look of there are any sets you want.

Also this hatchimal penguin thins if £47 down from £50something

hatchimal

coldilox
Ive got some squishes from aliexpress, for some reason i can't link. but i got 20 random ones for £7 and I've got extra single nice ones. But if you put in squishies loads come up.
Previous years I've got aliexpress stickeez, shopkins, pokemon. Ive also got the moshi monster advent calendar. You could buy a bulk lot of moshi's off eBay.

hibernatinghorris · 03/10/2017 14:04

thatswot we have the original elf, he is expensive. Hes looking a little worn now as he's about 8 years old now and had some adventures! Not sure he's worth the money, but there is a lot of merchandise and extra bits you can get with his face on. If you look on etsy / eBay / amazon for accessories they are all for the original one, so if your thinking long term it does make it easier.

KitKatCHA · 03/10/2017 14:06

Amazon browsing this morning!

Little Live Pets Surprise Chick toy looks like a decent hatchimals alternative plus it has great reviews! £11

Lego Dragster Transporter set Was £24.99 now £16

Magic car pen set £6.33 free delivery

Prime members only Lego Duplo big pink box Was £24.99 now £13.59

Barbie Camper van Was £87.99 now £69.99

Ideas gratefully received here for advent calendar which is for a 2 and 4 year olds. It has little drawers but they are tiny, and I can't think what on earth to put in them.
A few will end up being an Xmas Choc and some will have glittery stickers, plus a few will be a slip of paper to explain a Christmas themed activity for the day. Beyond that I'm stuck!!

WhyamIBoredathome · 03/10/2017 14:33

Oh, and for those wanting magnetic tiles/blocks, read product descriptions carefully. Often the 96 pieces or whatever includes a load of cards, so in fact there are only 60ish actual blocks. Some sets also have wheels etc while some don't. And some have loads of triangles and hardly any squares. I've not yet worked out which set it best value but will post what I think when I've looked more closely.

ShesAStar · 03/10/2017 14:35

Cookiefiend - thank you, you've just linked to my daughters Christmas present and I found the Lego my son asked for with £10.00 off. You've saved me about £30!

Fairytoad · 03/10/2017 14:45

I'm tempted by elf on a shelf, my ds will be 3 around Christmas. Should I wait another year?

singadream · 03/10/2017 14:57

Emma Bridgewater have just told me they will be doing free personalisation again at end of the month

Wait4nothing · 03/10/2017 15:06

@whyamiboredathome
Pom Poms (I’m using white ones to be mini snow balls - just add to craft stuff later)
Hair bobbles/clips
Plastic rings/woven bracelets
Small playdough cutters (we got some in a cracker last year I put aside!)
Puffy stickers (cut up a larger pack - obviously so much better than normal stickers)
Chalk

JangleJangleJangle · 03/10/2017 15:07

9yo DD1 mentioned she would like a laptop as a joint birthday & Christmas present.

I was going to get her a new tablet but then wondered if anyone knew anything refurbished laptops?

Wait4nothing · 03/10/2017 15:10

Maybe some folded up recipes too - playdough, slime, cookies, cupcakes, gingerbread

Lovemusic33 · 03/10/2017 15:17

Promised myself I wouldn't join this thread this year but here I am. Trying to stick to some kind of list and not buy anything else.

Dd2 has asked for the LOL big surprise ball which is very expensive for what it is but she hasn't asked for much else. It seems to be out of stock everywhere, was hoping to get it using my Tesco vouchers but at the moment it's not in stock. Has anyone seen them anywhere?

Dd1 wants the new 2ds, waiting to see if there are any deals on these.

Also hoping to buy the Amazon dot and hoping they will be on offer for Black Friday.

WhyamIBoredathome · 03/10/2017 15:37

Ooh, recipes are a good idea, thanks.
Pompoms will fit, although not many.
Not going to hairclips etc as DS has v sjort hair and DD rips them out within seconds. We have zillions sat unused Angry
Playdoh cutters is a good plan too, I'll check out the pound shop.
We have a ton of chalk already, but will try and get some puffy stickers.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 03/10/2017 15:47

Who was looking for Elf on the shelf? These popped up on Groupon last night x2 for £8.98 - original type design. I want some but my kids are too old! I'm tempted to do it and make them misbehave!

fluffywhitekittens · 03/10/2017 15:48

Has anyone used onlinepound store? I spent ages putting things in my baskets, some really good deals on Christmas scented yankee candle votives and then couldn't pay via paypal or checkout because it said I didn't have a county on my address.... (which I did!)
In other news I've got some amazingly, fabulous bargains so far including emma Bridgewater mugs and £1 toy shop stocking fillers and pokemon belt for ds birthday but really should stop now, although thinking about the flavourly gin and/or craft beer box for DH.

Freezingwinter · 03/10/2017 15:49

Try the range for elf on the shelf type stuff. Elves, sleeping bags, sleighs, reindeers etc all good price!

Changingagain · 03/10/2017 15:50

Thanks for the suggestion of checking Amazon.de. I've just had a quick look at the Duplo on there too and they seem to have completely different sets to the UK ones, many look like they have more play value.

cailingaelach · 03/10/2017 16:13

Yeah I found the same with the Playmobil, they had some stuff I hadn't seen on the UK site. Also got some PS4 and Wii U games last Christmas on Amazon.fr..cheaper than UK site and they're region free so it's worth comparing prices.

I'm looking for fingerlings at the moment, missed the offer on amazon the other week, amazon.de have the blue one for €13, might be better getting them in the 3 for 2 in Argos as I need two of them.

TellMeItsNotTrue · 03/10/2017 16:16

Tinc advent calendar not much of a bargain at £28 but better than the Smiggle one, you can see what you get on the link I've posted, looks quite good and apparently worth over £50

Reastie · 03/10/2017 16:19

Jangle Envy of your primark Harry Potter finds. I went all the way to primark oxford street today and they had not a very good range at all :(

Thanks for the necklace help, will have to show dh but I'm not sure if any will measure up to the original!

CatLadyInTraining · 03/10/2017 16:34

Ooh, that Time advent calendar looks much better than the Smiggle one we had last year. Does anyone know if they are likely to do a discount?
