I have just been testing out some cheap magic tricks from Aliexpress that I ordered for the DC's advent calendars. I am very impressed! The prices below are what I paid when I ordered them. Prices vary daily and are often, inexplicably, cheaper on the mobile app.
Oreo cookie magic trick, 59p. Very realistic cookies and very easy to do. No instructions, but there are .
Ball into box magic trick, 28p. Pretty easy to learn. No instructions,
Coin escape trick, 26p. Easy to learn. No instructions,
And here’s some other good buys I’ve had from Aliexpress. I have posted some of these before…
Nerf bullet holding wrist band, I paid 58p, but the seller I purchased from is sold out. If you want to take a chance on a new seller, this one has them for 33p
Set of Minecraft minifigs, I paid £5.54 for set X0127. Not genuine Lego but I was impressed by the quality (better than Wilko etc). You’ll have to find building instructions online though.
Outfit for American Girl / 18” doll, £2.62. The t-shirt feel a bit cheap (it's made of a very thin shiny type of fabric), but otherwise I was very pleased.

I am so impressed with this. I bought the Stitch one. All zips etc work and the straps are adjustable.
Underwear for American Girl / 18” doll, £1.47. Very impressed with these too.
Shoes for American Girl / 18” doll, £2.04. I ordered a pair of the black patent school shoes and the quality is amazing.
Black magnetic ‘ear expander’ style earrings, 64p (price seems to have gone up now, but there are many other sellers). Bought these earlier this year for DanTDM-obsessed DS. They work really well, although I’d be wary of giving anything with magnets from Aliexpress to younger children in case they were to swallow the magnets. Other magnetic items have required a dab of superglue to keep the magnets in place.
Copper Wire Mini Fairy lights, I bought some to liven up Barbie’s house last Christmas. They were £1.39 and worth every penny. The original button battery is still going strong.
