@jinxed DS (10) got these biscuit cutters for his birthday recently and they're really good. He's used them a few times already.

Nzou1050 · 29/09/2017 07:13

Ginxed how about some.3D cookie cutters? DS has a dinosaur one and it's pretty good, you just need to make sure the dough isn't rolled too thick so they fit together once baked. link

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 29/09/2017 07:32

Margarita, yes thats the one. Thank you so much.

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 29/09/2017 07:38

@Ginxed how about a Nutella cookbook and a pot of Nutella- I think there was some way of getting a personalised pot in previous years but can't remember how? Or just a massive pot- have seen in Asda before

Freezingwinter · 29/09/2017 07:39

Hi all, has anyone seen good deals on Playmobil?

lionsleepstonight · 29/09/2017 07:49

@WhoseGonnaDriveUHomePorkPie Very do 20% off your first credit order which includes the Switch for new customers and payment over 3 months. It ends on the 29th which is today? So it takes approx £60 off. They are mainly on pre order every where so I think it's unlikely they'll discount as they're not sat piled up in shops.

FoofFighter · 29/09/2017 07:52

playmobil - Smyths have a couple of the carry case sets in the two for £15 bit, we got one last year (horse show jumping) and it's been played with a lot especially the tiny poops

For baking stuff I'd head to TKMaxx and get some of the more unusual shaped tins/choc moulds etc

lifelongfrugaleer · 29/09/2017 08:09

Late to the game. Are there any not burnt down fingerling best buys please

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 29/09/2017 08:23

Gel for colouring cakes, pretty sprinkles, edible glitter, those rice pictures for the top of cakes. I managed to get tractor ones for my son

SheStoodInTheStorm · 29/09/2017 08:55

I've ordered a Fingerling from Amazon, a £9 one (£15 seems ridiculous for what it is)

Amazon seem happy with it and they've had good reviews from the seller. If it's rubbish though I'll return.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 29/09/2017 09:09

It's payday today...now to make a serious dent in the list!

cracks knuckles

CarrotVan · 29/09/2017 09:31

Rocket and Rose are doing their FiverFriday offer today with personalised dinosaur t-shirts in various colours for £5 and they have a clearance sale from 7pm

SharkInThePark · 29/09/2017 09:31

Thanks for the ideas @nocutsnobutsnococonuts. Reckon then potion idea will especially be enjoyed Smile

CarrotVan · 29/09/2017 09:59

Anyone know when the Ikea Christmas shop opens?

MooseyMoo · 29/09/2017 10:29

Ginxed How about a cookery book? This one has great reviews The Silver Spoon for Children

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 29/09/2017 11:01

I've got my Aspinal wallet for my dad! Huge thanks for the help...it was £95 but I got the wallet AND a hip flask and embossing for £91! So thrilled!

VinoTime · 29/09/2017 11:01

RL B&M Bargains from yesterday:

Unicorn slippers £4.99
3pk unicorn lip glosses £2.49
5pk Emoji princess/unicorn socks £3.00
Hatchimal plush £4.95 (think they're normally £10)

Also, for any Paco Robanne Lady Million perfume lovers, there is a cheap hack I found out about last year. This Golddigga perfume smells VERY similar to it and will only set you back a fiver for a 100ml bottle in places like Savers and B&M. I'm a bit of a perfume snob so I would never have normally looked at it, but a lady in a shop convinced me to try it, and I was stunned, to say the least. Haven't bought Lady Million since, though people always assume that's what I'm wearing. I don't correct them Grin

Annwithnoe Our Robert gets loved daily by my now 4.5 year old (although his name is now Twinkletoes). I am still a bit disappointed that his horn isn't bigger.

DD is eyeing up a similar sized Pegasus in the Smyths catalogue for this year... I am trying to persuade her that it should at least be for her little sister. I am not sure I will win this one!

TellMeItsNotTrue · 29/09/2017 11:35

Sainsburys toy sale apparently confirmed for 18th of October

nickdrakeslovechild · 29/09/2017 11:49

Asda are selling off the sparkle power girlz superhero dolls for £1.50 each. Reduced from £6.50. Same size as barbie and come with a matching power ring.

mayathebee · 29/09/2017 11:50

Work has been so busy I feel I've fallen behind with these threads and bargain shopping.

I did manage to pop into asda yesterday and picked up the playmobil hospital which I am really pleased with so thanks for posting that!

I also used the 20% off code someone posted to order their advent calendars from the playmobil site last week so thanks for the code!

wornoutboots · 29/09/2017 11:51

my 2 year old just asked for "a really big dinosaur"

mayathebee · 29/09/2017 11:53

Im now trying to find a hermione Grainger wand with illuminating tip for less than £35 so please let me know if you see one. I'm Shock at paying that for it but dd1 rarely asks for anything other than a surprise so I'd like to get it for her.

OhHolyFuck · 29/09/2017 12:00

@wornoutboots a 6foot inflatable one? On Argos 3for2
although if you wait until it's ended it'll probably be cheaper what with the massive price bump up

Mayathebee sign up to the Harry Potter shop website, they sent me a 15% code when I did or if you're not worried about it being a legit on then search "Hermione Light up wand" and there's loads (I've bought several on eBay and all have been absolutely fine!)
