That was tq toys. I've bought some for Santa's grotto at school. They'd be great.

ToddWheresMyGoddamnLatte · 02/11/2016 08:02

First post on the Christmas threads Xmas Smile thanks to everyone for all the great bargains so far!

AdmiralData thanks for posting about Poetic Pieces on etsy. I've seen a couple of things for DD on there that would be great stocking fillers.
They've got 20% off on a £20 spend at the moment with lovebooks16

SymphonyofShadows · 02/11/2016 08:13

I like the book idea but i might head down the TQ Toy route i was thinking about happy meal style boxes with 1 thing in then a cone as well

Ihearthickson · 02/11/2016 08:50

Thanks for the Spode mugs heads-up!

yumyumpoppycat · 02/11/2016 09:04

book people books are good, another idea if doing a home party is to do a craft activity during the party and then the children take the craft home instead of a party bag.

PinkSquash · 02/11/2016 09:08

I need your advice wonderful bargain hunters, I have 2DSs, 10 and 4 and a budget of £40 each tops for their stockings. I already have annuals sorted for them, but I don't want to get loads of tat that I can't store. Has anyone got any ideas as I'm really struggling this year. Flowers

MooseyMoo · 02/11/2016 09:15

pinksquash DVD, Magic flannel, tooth brush, stationery - pens, pencils, novelty rubbers, Stickers, glow sticks, Lego blind bag, Lego Polybag (free with newspapers, I stash them away every year!), temporary tattoos, Dinosaur transfer set

TobleroneBoo · 02/11/2016 09:19

Okay, I need a present for a one year old girl and I need it by Saturday, without having to go to the shops haha! Any ideas?

verytiredmummy1 · 02/11/2016 09:21

toblerone what sort of budget have you got? If you've got Amazon prime how about some books? They usually get delivered quickly. Or a colouring book? X

d270r0 · 02/11/2016 09:27

Fatface are doing a promotion where for every £70 you spend before 8th November, they give you a £20 voucher to spend in December.

TobleroneBoo · 02/11/2016 09:32

Not alot Verytired really, its only because we are invited over for fireworks, otherwise I wouldnt normally buy for - maybe £10? No amazon prime though :( but books / colouring books are a good idea - thank you!

Have also been eyeing up this Princess Chime Doll

PinkSquash · 02/11/2016 09:33

Thank you Moosey Flowers

Lapinlapin · 02/11/2016 09:37

woodwaj I've been to parties where they've had a lucky dip style thing, so every child gets to choose a book/small toy/ whatever. Seems quite a good idea, and that way you could buy a few different things -maybe make use of different bargains! You could do this as they leave and hand out your cone of sweets at the same time?

Baker Ross are quite good for party bag items and craft stuff, although delivery can be a bit slow so order in plenty of time!

DiscoMike · 02/11/2016 09:40

As an alternative to Robert, this arrived yesterday from Wilkos. Half price at £30 - although not really worth £60 IMO. However, it really is a massive penguin. And I've got nowhere to store it Hmm It's for DS, but DD caught me trying to stuff it under the bed which took bloody ages and burst into tears and dramatically flung herself around wishing she was my favourite child like DS Grin

AlwaysNeverOnTime · 02/11/2016 09:55

Lucy the dog is down to £23.97 on amazon

needyounow · 02/11/2016 09:56

Wee question about the chalk pens...
I have just got code through in email which has worked. I'm assuming because I don't have Prime I'm going to have to pay for the delivery that's been added? Are the pens still worth it for £4.99? Thanks

insan1tyscartching · 02/11/2016 10:06

Thank you for the mugs link have bought them for dd's TAs.

CoffeeMad18 · 02/11/2016 10:08
