Yes I went to Tesco today and all hint of Halloween had vanished in mine as well!
Sainsbury had masses of it still and it was all half price. I bought an outfit and a lightstaff as there weren't many left and I really wanted them, but will give it a bit longer to see if things drop to pennies like they did last year before buying decorations etc.

Shine0n · 01/11/2016 21:14

Matilda you should be able to get a large Playmobil set for around £50. Always goes down a storm here! The pre-school is on a good offer at the minute at £53.99 instead of £69.99 and looks great. Or the Zoo, Police Station or Treehouse?

Reastie I saw on Hotukdeals earlier that Wilkos have reduced their Halloween stock to 75% off instore

Shine0n · 01/11/2016 21:16

Matilda here's a link that I didn't forget to include to some of the more spendy Argos Playmobil sets www.argos.co.uk/search/playmobil/opt/sort:price:desc/

For anyone looking magazine subscriptions with free gifts and cash back this site was linked to many threads back I saved it down and had forgot about it - raging as last months mens health deal was cracking

I am on the look out for bargainous subscriptions for a soap magazine and either a gossipy one or older lady one for the mil as a wee extra - if they come with an extra gift even better

I have just purchased the cornerstone razor, could someone please tell me what the box is like? Could I gift it or is there spaces in the box?
TIA

OhCobblers · 01/11/2016 21:25

Gutted that I missed out on the Sylvanian School house this morning. Had it sitting in my basket with 8 in stock and then poof all gone!!
Would be very grateful if anyone sees it down to £24 again!

I know its been mentioned on previous threads but just a reminder that the Zootropolis toys in Home Bargains are at such a cheap price.

Mipe · 01/11/2016 21:28

Cupofchar there are spaces in the box but you could always take the cardboard spacer thing out and replace it with some tissue paper or something like that Smile.

So glad I found this thread...think it has saved my Christmas sanity as well as my purse Grin

Looking to get DP a coffee subscription. Anyone know of any bargains?

AdmiralData · 01/11/2016 21:55

Anybody looking for bespoke but budget-esque jewellery (particularly Harry Potter) may like PoeticPieces on Etsy. I've just bought an 'Always' ring for my friend for secret Santa for £6 and it comes in a sweet little gift bag. The lady who makes the jewellery can put quotes from anything on necklaces/rings/bracelets so it's all quite personal. I have had several pieces and i can vouch for the quality. I'll try and get a link up but I'm a luddite.

monkeyfacegrace · 01/11/2016 21:57

banoffee I could kiss you.

Saved me £12 ish.

AdmiralData · 01/11/2016 21:58

cupofchar I've got the cornerstone razor and there are cardboard pieces with spaces in for shaving gels/lotions. You can give as a gift on its own but Home Bargains or Superdrug will have brilliant cheap bits to put in.
