Has anyone seen any deals or good offers on personalised Christmas stockings? Twins first Christmas and want to make it magical Blush

SquatBetty · 27/10/2016 17:28

Bastard Hush have refunded me my £2 but haven't even had the courtesy to reply to my email requesting that they re-instate my order as I'd used a code I'd picked up some weeks previously and not from the Hush thread on the Xmas board

Been many years since I've seen a brand act in such a shoddy unprofessional manner to so many potential customers.

They really are absolute fools.

OnTheEdgeOfItAll · 27/10/2016 17:44

ChristmasSeacow only place I recall seeing them are the Cadbury shops in Retails outlets such as McArthur Glen and their ilk.

IToldYouIWasFreaky lakeland do gin and tonic icing as well

mootime · 27/10/2016 17:45

Hello bargain hunters. Is there likely to be an Argos 3 for 2 at all?

ChristmasSeacow · 27/10/2016 17:49

Thanks Edge. I am not near one but will keep an eye on the supermarkets. Not sure what the best price would have been last year but think it was better than the current £3 at Asda

Greenrabbit · 27/10/2016 18:07

CarrotVan Have you had a look at Clinique's website? They always have free gifts with purchase. Often it's just a minimum spend rather than the normal 'buy two items, one to be skincare/foundation)
I've just checked my email and they have an offer for a free skincare duo (moisture surge and all about eyes) if you spend £30 (code HALLOWEEN)
If you spend £50 you also get a Chubby stick blusher, lip pencil and mascara.(HALLOWEEN50)
Plus it's free P&P and you can get Quidco/Topcashback.

Although if you prefer to go to an actual shop I'm sure that Debenhams will have a bonus time very soon.

Christmas is definitely getting closer - the Good Housekeeping Christmas issue came out yesterday. Xmas Grin

Have bought and put to one side for after half term and a nice little bit of offline Christmas daydreaming to look forward to, to supplement these threads!

LavateLasManos · 27/10/2016 18:13

I don't think it's particularly bargainous myself but then again it's an awful lot of chocolate.
Giant 4.5kg Toblerone

ReindeerPoop · 27/10/2016 18:18

BEER52 - remember them from 2/3 years ago? are doing a box of 8 beers and a mag and a snack for £14. Plus their customer service is better than some yes hush I'm looking at you...and I didn't even order!

Nzou1050 · 27/10/2016 18:20

I bought the boots Yankee candle set but thinking of splitting into smaller gifts for hampers. Any ideas where I should start looking for bargainous nice tea light or votive holders?

ChristmasEvePJs · 27/10/2016 18:28

Lovely Christmas long sleeve tops in morrisons for a bargainous £2.50 each.

mammyaroundmadness · 27/10/2016 18:41

Has anyone got any ideas of what to get for a 17 year old boy? Finding it really difficult to get him so bits this year

BeaLola · 27/10/2016 18:44

Thanks MooseyMoo but I have tried all the Joules codes and none will actually deduct 25% off or give me free p&p and the two items come to £99. Have tried ringing but have given up hanging on.

Pippin8 · 27/10/2016 18:47

I just got a 7 piece towel set and beauty box worth over £100 apparently for just £25 on IWOOT. We needed towels anyway and they were the right colour and Egyptian cotton so hopefully a good bargain.

APocketfulOfStars · 27/10/2016 19:17

Toblerone any chance you could post a link to the Benefit miniature and stocking? I"ve just had a look on Boots and can't find it. I'm probably being blind thanks!

Thanks again to everyone for all the great bargains!

DrWhooves · 27/10/2016 19:22

I've not had time to RTFT so I don't know if this has been posted already but pound stretcher have these cuddly unicorns for £2.99 in pink, purple and white. They also have colour changing LED tealights for £1.99, I got some for my Christmas candle holders because I have a kitten I can't trust near an open flame.

Can anyone remember how much the good housekeeping offer was please? I've just seen the dd was taken for £18 and I don't remember it being that much. Oh and I received the nest of bowls and they're pretty hopeless for me, as too many sieve/colander things and 1 bowl too small, 1 too big.

In a couple of years I think we will still be saying to each other about remember the whole hush fiasco!

Nzou1050 ikea are usually quite bargainous for tea light and votive holders. Also sometimes reduced in yankee shops

Leeloo2 · 27/10/2016 19:28

Oh, and I saw Gh in a shop today and it had free Xmas cookie cutters, which don't seem to come with the 1 posted out...
