Just come on to say that my playmobil ark from argos has just arrived and it's massive! A total bargain for £20. Think I'm going to save it for dd2's birthday in Feb as I'm done for Christmas.

Thanks to whoever posted the deal.

Oreocrumbs · 26/10/2016 13:31

Bowlfullofjelly. Thank you for the kindle tip off!!

MooseyMoo · 26/10/2016 13:32

Finally found a Shopkins Magic flannel (in Sainsburys) for £2. They are £1.50 in Wilkos if you have one near. I also found a Finding Dory flannel so that's the last two items found for the stocking - woo!

M&S had all their Xmas wrapping paper and some of their gifts.

liquidrevolution · 26/10/2016 13:32

I just ordered this for DD. She also has a couple of capes from ebay but this looked like a good addition to her dress up box. Half price at £7.49.

chad valley superhero set

TQ toys are ace. I ordered some Melissa and Doug hats without packaging and they are brilliant. I also got a free gift Grin

pantherfootballforever · 26/10/2016 13:34

Thanks for the new thread Reastie

I am now officially done with the exception of chocolate and DH's main present (stocking is done) who may end up getting a blooming iTunes voucher at this rate because I cannot think of a single thing to get him!

On that note - any idea where the cheapest place is going to be to get selection boxes? I'm going to need about 10 and will need at least half of them by mid-Nov as they have to be mailed to the U.S. The best I've seen so far is 2 for £3 on the medium sized cadbury ones in Home Bargains. Am I right in remembering that Tesco perhaps did Buy 1 get 1 (or maybe even 2) free in previous years???

AbleSeamanTitty · 26/10/2016 13:35

Sorry for all the typos, poorly dd2 knocking my phone all over the place.

Does anyone know the quality of the pjs at character.com?

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 26/10/2016 13:35

Any easy photo book offers for me anyone?

LavateLasManos · 26/10/2016 13:37

Goandplay stock informer is the website you need. It's also on The List.

LavateLasManos · 26/10/2016 13:39

panther I'm waiting on cheap selection boxes too. Morrisons and Tesco both had offers which made the medium boxes £1 each. I'm sure it was around November time

ChocolateWombat · 26/10/2016 13:44

Place marking.
Thanks for the new thread.

LikeSilver · 26/10/2016 13:45

Thank you Reastie Flowers

Could I please have coffee machine recommendations/bargains? Looking for something with inexpensive pods as we don't have loads of spare cash. DH has a daily latte so nothing fancy needed. Thanks!

LostMyRubySlippers · 26/10/2016 13:49

doyouwantamedal had loads of emails about photo books- trying to think....! Tesco photo half price, photobox up to 70% with extra discount for insiders club, one from snappish too but can't recall what- think it might have been a percentage discount with a code to enter....

VoldemortsNipple · 26/10/2016 13:53

panther have you looked at home bargains online, they usually sell selection boxes by the case load. here Sorry, I haven't done the maths to see if it works out cheaper.

ReallyShouldKnowBetterAtMyAge · 26/10/2016 13:53

I'm also looking out for a basic coffee machine like

pantherfootballforever · 26/10/2016 13:54

LikeSilver - how much coffee do you make at one time? DH drinks a lot of coffee (and is a total coffee snob) but I don't at all so we rarely make more than 1 cup at a time, and if we have people over even then it's only 2 or 3 cups usually. We were reluctant to take up worktop space for something which wasn't really necessary. my kitchenaid is totally necessary

Instead of a coffee machine he has an aeropress and swears by it. Apparently it makes really smooth coffee. It basically makes an espresso which you then top up with water for a regular black coffee or milk for latte etc... We have had visitors come stay with us and all gone home and ordered one for themselves because they have fallen in love with it. It's also quicker than a coffee machine and easier to clean.

LookMaAStone · 26/10/2016 13:55

Freezingwinter b&m had quite a few singing bears etc and also a twerking Santa....has to be seen to be believed.

pantherfootballforever · 26/10/2016 13:55

Thanks Voldemort - had a quick look (I didn't actually know they did that) but they work out the same price as in store.

Wait4nothing · 26/10/2016 13:56

Like silver
We have a tassimo - standard price is £4.50 for 8 lattes or 16 americanos (Sainsbury's) and sometimes we find better offers. Costa pods are a little more. Often get a £20 website offer when you buy the machine.
