Morrisons have already opened up their Christmas delivery slots to people with a delivery saver membership. I suspect other supermarkets have done the same.

FeelingSmurfy · 22/10/2016 00:00

I'm ill and sleeping a lot, I seem to have missed a lot! I'm just catching up on this thread now and will try and go through the rest of the last one tomorrow

Roastie thanks for the reminder about private eye annual!

Emerge Thankyou for the link to the spode sale, we have a huge collection of that but can always add to it! Xmas Wink

Hush are fuckers - would hate to be working in their customer services dept right now...

Changingagain · 22/10/2016 06:36

For kids globes, my local Tk Maxx has a few choices in atm. I didn't look at the prices though, they were in the toy section.

kitchenlights · 22/10/2016 06:51

roastie amazon penguins link sold out

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 22/10/2016 06:51

Voldemort Good Housekeeping had a subscription deal on with free gift of Joseph bowls, but I'm pretty sure it's expired now, sorry. There have been a few good deals with mags recently so hopefully another one will come soon.

Dark swan possibly a boring suggestion but could you make them a hamper? For say £30 joint you could have lovely chocolates in there, cheese, posh oat cakes, bottle ofprosecco and maybe some nice hot choc or tea?

MooseyMoo · 22/10/2016 07:11

GerrardWinstanley Re Shopkins - they are collectible figures. Each season has different figures, finishes, limited editions and rare. Each season has: 2 pack, 5 pack, 12 pack and 20 pack tube and then new playsets with limited ed Shopkins in (normally x2). When a new season is released (season 6 - Chef Club has just been released and sounds like what you're DDs have just received) I tend to buy a 20 pack and 2 packs as treat/bribery.

DD only has one playset (Sweet Spot playset - has a working gumball machine) and Shoppie dolls.

Season 5 has been the favourite so far as 5 & 12 packs had a bracelet and the hidden Shopkins were small charms. Also it had glow in the dark Shopkins.

The main issue is storage so I bought a Shopkins display case with Boots points and a mini shopping basket (from a local store).

There is a Shopkins app which 4 and 6 yr old love. There's a slightly more difficult one called Shoppies I think which is like Froggar. Season 6 has a scan bar on it so you scan your Shopkins. I haven't downloaded this one yet as don't have any season 6 yet.

HungryHorace · 22/10/2016 07:22

Sainsbury's don't open their Christmas slots early; it's the standard 3 weeks' ahead as per the rest of the year.

I've got a Waitrose slot booked already (but will cancel once I have my Sainsbury's one sorted).

I've been stocking up on those batteries too, woodwaj. 😀

unicornsarenotjustforchristmas · 22/10/2016 07:44

Maybe we should start a petition to get hush to honour their referral scheme? Then get it trending on twitter or something.... could do some real damage to that company and treat them like they've treated their customers
In good bargain news though - The Mail newspaper is giving away free lego today. A ninjago plane. You have to buy the paper then take a voucher in it to WHSmith or Tesco express to get the lego set. Only small but a brilliant cheap stocking filler for a lego-obsessive like my ds1

Gooseysgirl · 22/10/2016 07:54

good price for Playmobil water slide park at John Lewis, usually around £40, now £31.99. Have snapped it up as I accidentally forgot to check out when I had it in my basket on amazon when similarly priced a few weeks ago Confused

And I agree re Hush, time to do some social media campaigning... Angry

CMF1812 · 22/10/2016 08:02

Just managed to get 4 sale items for £3 posted at Claire's. good stocking fillers for my 3yo DD!

IAmAPaleontologist · 22/10/2016 08:13

quilliam no i didn't have a dispatch email, hope you get your order soon.

Off to check out the claire's website now.

mamapants · 22/10/2016 08:16

Sylvanian families supermarket set down to £22 on Amazon prime. Seems to be its lowest price. Rrp £40 so a good deal. Have decided it's too many small bits for my children though

Oreocrumbs · 22/10/2016 08:20

Morning all, was it on this thread that someone posted a pic of an email from Ali express about confirming the email address?

And what was the problem? I've just received the email too...... am I not supposed to confirm it or something?

...... or have I made all that up in my sleep deprived brain? Confused

Strawberryfield12 · 22/10/2016 08:21

What makes my blood boiling is the wording of their email, not so much the fact they cancel orders. How dare they accuse people and then request to prove they are not guilty "in case their codes were obtained in a valid fashion"! If you accuse somebody then you have to prove they are guilty not viceversa. And what is the definition of so called valid obtaining of codes in their books anyway? In their referral email they actually encouraged people to post their referral link on social media and people followed that, referred real people not some online robots, people used genuine codes generated by Hush, nobody hacked them or anything. The only issue I can see in the whole story is that marketing and business development in Hush is done by a muppet who can't see two steps ahead. It has nothing to do with abuse or fraud customers get blame for. That makes me willing to take the issue further and force Hush to send an email of apology to every single customer they accused in wrongdoing unless they can actually prove illegal actions.

BowlFullofJelly · 22/10/2016 08:27

Tesco have 25% off 6 bottles of wine, and also salted caramel liquer is down to £10. Anyone remember when the cheapest Baileys deals are - Morrison have 1l for £12 at the mo, will it get any cheaper?

MrsBellefleur · 22/10/2016 08:27

Aldi are doing packs of 10 Panasonic batteries for £2.49 when the toy event starts, online with free delivery so I've ordered some to come with some train track for dd.

Lolly12 · 22/10/2016 08:34

Another one annoyed with Hush and the accusing email.

There was a poster in the now deleted referral thread that was saying they'd put in a load of random/fake email addresses to generate new codes and that you could use more than one code at a time thus getting £100s of free stuff.

There's always one. I just wanted some tights.

Lolly12 · 22/10/2016 08:35

Although to be fair Hush should have ensured this wasn't possible!
