Re posting codes - how does anyone decide when / what to post then? It isn't workable.

torthecatlady · 24/10/2016 19:36

Thanks ScaryMonsters!! I'll be paying a visit in hope of finding a calendar :)

sepsisandAKI · 24/10/2016 19:38

Whoever was askin about tartan pjs in Primark. They are out. I got my son two different types. An all tartan pair with button up front and a pair with tartan brushed cotton bottoms and a blue ribbed jersey top. They're so lovely and such a bargain.

NotMyMoney · 24/10/2016 19:38

I have two codes for the three white chalk pens makes them £1

CarrotVan · 24/10/2016 19:43

roastie I've got a child's chalk board from Poundland - wooden frame which could be painted/decorated/totally blinged out, A4 size, comes with a small set of coloured chalks and a sponge.

winewolfhowls · 24/10/2016 19:43

Thanks for the gruffalo crumble heads up, ordered two!

CarrotVan · 24/10/2016 19:45

sepsis aren't the pjs lovely in Primark at the moment? We got ds1 a lovely pair in light blue with a fire engine on the jersey top and traffic signs on the brushed cotton bottoms

Kerrierr · 24/10/2016 19:48

Anyone on the look out for Heelys. I ordered some last night from Treds originally £44.95, I got 20% off with code OCT20 which bought them to £36.95 which seems a bargain for heelys (IMO). Hope it's ok to post this code Wink

SilverGiraffe7 · 24/10/2016 19:49

Cup of tea - I bought a wall tree from Studio two years ago to stop an avenging toddler from wreaking, and still use it now as it's just easier; takes up no floor space and looks great! Easy to hang on a hook and I add coloured lights to mine alongside the prelit ones on it.
There's one currently reduced to £9.99.

Daniel Wellington watches seem to be half price on Amazon

woodwaj · 24/10/2016 19:50

Can anyone point me in the direction of a bargain 3ds. Its paid for with birthday money so not really prepared to wait for black friday etc 😂

CarrotVan · 24/10/2016 19:52

Does anyone know if Pringles (the crisp people) do Christmas gift sets?

gladisgood · 24/10/2016 19:54

If anyone is looking for extra bedding for guests, Wayfair have a 3 for 2 offer on. There's also lots of other Christmassy bargains up to 70% off.

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 24/10/2016 19:57

I need some "designer" smelliest for a 25 year old. Any ideas? I don't normally buy for adults but this is for a sports coach who has been amazing with my autistic daughter and really helped her. Don't know him well enough to get something more personal so want something nice. No idea what that age range like!

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 24/10/2016 19:57

Smellies that is - damn auto correct!

chicaguapa · 24/10/2016 19:58

I've emailed ce unique designs about the grammar mistakes in their desk calendars. Imagine paying £10 for a calendar with your instead of you're!! Hmm You would think that someone in charge of that job would be capable of getting it right.

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 24/10/2016 20:01

Thank you all for links to trikes and trees. Giraffe that wall tree looks great!

Stillunexpected · 24/10/2016 20:02

Chicaguapa there are grammar mistakes on the main website page as well - tailor made should be hyphenated for starters!

neddle · 24/10/2016 20:04

woodwaj
Blue and pink 3ds xl available from Amazon warehouse deals for looks like £40ish off.
They're normally just damaged boxes with a hefty discount and you still get the 30 days return.

Carrot, ace about Poundland, thanks, I'll take a look next time I go near it.

Swoosh I read that as denzel Washington watches and wondered what that would look like!

I have to say I agree with the code posts against bringing in rules. They would be incredibly hard to enforce and just because th codes aren't on HDUK as quick it doesn't mean they aren't online anywhere else. Sharing is the spirit of the thread but I realise is is annoying for some sometimes. I think in a way the thread is a victim of its own success though; codes and offers that when there was less traffic here probably would have been honoured are less likely do with larger numbers of people using them and there definitely seem to be more cases of Chinese sellers not fulfilling orders. Feel free to disagree with me though.

Just putting dd to bed so hope that all makes sense.

chica I have just done the same thing! Hopefully they'll get it sorted.

neddle · 24/10/2016 20:13

I think I bought mine in Lidl, but I have some chalkboard on a roll and it's self adhesive.
You can cut it to size and you just peel the back off and stick it on.
I've got bits in the kitchen for chores and a weekly plan, then a bit in the dining room with homework etc on it.

BrollySmolly · 24/10/2016 20:25

Just saw the grammar mistakes too! Shock

sepsisandAKI · 24/10/2016 20:26

carrot. They're lovely. I bought those ones too with fire engine onBlush. May have got a bit carried away. I got myself some lovely brushed cotton ones too. The Newcastle Primark is fab. I love Newcastle in general tbh!

Changingagain · 24/10/2016 20:27

CarrotVan I'm not sure you can get physical gift cards for steam. Game have the little packets out on display so it looks like you're buying an actual card but when you take it to the counter they just print you out some codes on a bit of receipt paper.
We got some for DN last year and just ended up buying a nice but tiny Xmas card and writing the codes in.
