Anyone know how to get more than 10% off Jojo MB? Ive seen 20% in the past... it's not a scooter i'm after...

Hushabyelullaby · 24/10/2016 18:05

I didn't see the last thread so this'll be interesting, thanks!

BowiesBlueEye · 24/10/2016 18:06

Thank you for the hype codes. Managed to get a hoodie for £19.50. My DSD started secondary school this September and I've been after one for her.

QueenOfFuckAll · 24/10/2016 18:16

Thank you piglet, that makes me feel a bit better.

cookiefiend · 24/10/2016 18:19

Last year Jo jo did a thing where they have out discount codes of between 10% and 50%. I think some people got them by post/ email but I got mine In store. It around November I think. Failing that on top of the discount code you find online go through topcashback or quidco to get an extra 5 or 6%.

If you find a better code do let us know- I need a couple of things from there!

Regarding posting codes in here "too soon" this is is one of many online forums posting bargains- HDUK, MSE, playpennies and several facebook groups do the same. Not to mention that hype themselves (and others) have thousands on their mailing list and when there are only 25 discounts available they will go fast.

Asking people not to post bargains here means you might miss out on others of interest to you and certainly doesn't mean you would have been one of the lucky 25 to get in there first.

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 24/10/2016 18:26

Sorry but I agree. I don't think asking people to hold off posting is in the spirit of the thread - people are just trying to be inclusive. There's times of day it's inconvenient for people to shop for various reasons, and they'll be different for everyone.

I didn't use a code if that helps, honest!

QuilliamCakespeare · 24/10/2016 18:28

I agree. I had a browse on Hype but decided not to try and buy anything just because it was a bargain (I can't think of anyone to buy for) so didn't attempt to use them.

QueenOfFuckAll · 24/10/2016 18:30

I just think 10 minutes is a bit swift.

NiceCupOfTeaAndASitDown · 24/10/2016 18:31

Hello all, have been lurking but not had any bargains to share until now.

I am looking for a few things, if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

DD2 will be 2 at Christmas and is really into delicate things that she can take apart and put back together - such as DS's Lego men, clasps, little pots with lids, Playmobil people's hair etc. I'm looking for something suitable for her to tinker about with that isn't a choking hazard - preferably a toy but not necessarily

Interested in a trike for older children (DS is nearly 6 but quite tall) that doesn't look like it's made for 'babies' - he has ASD and can't yet ride a bike , he whizzes about on trikes at playgroups but hasn't liked any of the ones I've pointed out...I think he's worried about standing out in front of his friends

I'm also after an alternative to a Christmas tree that's rowdy child safe! Our tree last year ended up at the dump after a mouse made a nest in it. I really loved the Ikea tree print wall hanging a few years back which was only £5 but I missed out. They're £30 on eBay now Sadso if anyone has seen something similar or a similar alternative I'd be most grateful

So for my bargains -

W7 Beauty advent calendar with 100% cash back here at £16.99. New customers only though unfortunately.

Amazon have this pack of nesting storage boxes half price at £24.99 at the moment.

Hope this helps someone Grin

ReindeerPoop · 24/10/2016 18:35

What about something like this Cup of tea? Cool trike thing it has £30 off too

ReindeerPoop · 24/10/2016 18:38

Does any one know if Tesco Direct are likely to have any discount codes in the coming weeks? I so miss the boost Sad

CarrotVan · 24/10/2016 18:38

I've just ordered the Haynes First Tech build your own engine for DS1 - total bargain at £8 but only on click and collect.

I think I've also found a really good jacket for DH at TK Maxx - fx it stays in stock in his size until payday!

Now I need a mushroom growing kit - anyone seen anything?

ReindeerPoop · 24/10/2016 18:40

this one is cool too Cup of tea

CarrotVan · 24/10/2016 18:40

Also has anyone seen £10 Steam gift cards? I need an actual physical gift card

CarrotVan · 24/10/2016 18:41

That Haynes First Tech is at Halfords btw

Thekidsthatpukedxmas · 24/10/2016 18:46

Cup of tea - I'm not sure if this would be any good or whether it's a bit more go kart?

Just got back from hols to emails from hush I had 3 orders of which 2 arrived although apparently all cancelled they can't do this they sent links for Facebook referral so 25 of my friends could sign up and ii would get £250 surely they realise this I have emailed to say this.

I propose all those of us wronged click reply to their email daily until removed from mailing list 😀

Buttercupsandaisies · 24/10/2016 18:50

Oh my god just bought one of these!

www.ce-uniquedesigns.com

neddle · 24/10/2016 18:55

Baymax figure only £4-55, down from £12-99.

AdoraBell · 24/10/2016 18:59

Place marking

RoastieToastieReastie · 24/10/2016 19:04

Has anyone seen a good mini chalk board to go with the chalk pens?

I need to chase up the Amazon reindeer game thing, thanks for the reminder. Sent a message to seller but got nothing back and then forgot.

I have to agree that asking people not to post straight away isn't in the spirit of the thread.

FireflyGirl · 24/10/2016 19:05

cupoftea how about this one from Ikea?

I've got my eye on it but won't get there until middle of next month Halloween Angry

And because I think you are the people to appreciate it, I have spent my evening so far snuggled up with a glass of mulled wine, German Christmas biscuits and the M&S Christmas food brochure Xmas Grin. So it begins...

But hype is emailing the codes to their repeat customers and I don't see them posted on HDUK. And this is a huge public website, so I agree it is a bit unfair to abuse it. You all cried outrage at Hush, so please don't ruin it with Hype.

AdoraBell · 24/10/2016 19:11

I bought a small chalk board in The Works earlier in the year, can't remember the price now but I wouldn't have paid over a tenner.
