anyone got under-a-fiver suggestions for 12 and 13 year old boys please? 2 nephews and I'm stumped!
don't really want to get them tshirts as that's what they got for their birthdays this year

HerSpookyFattyness · 19/10/2016 18:42

I'll be going sainsburys on Friday. Hopefully they have the minecraft lego set I'm after.

AmyAmoeba · 19/10/2016 18:45

Beadyboo If she's crafty she might be ready to learn a proper craft like knitting, sewing, jewellery making... some lovely kits and sets around.

It looks like my mermaid blankets have disappeared for good so back to the drawing board for those gifts Sad

If anyone sees any bargainous Calvin Klein boxers I'd be grateful.

DS is still considering which of his many desires he will ask for from Santa. It's most likely to be an eye wateringly expensive Lego technic set. How much longer can I let him dither before all the good bargains will be gone?

Sorry if its been posted not caught up from this morning yet.

mamas and papas pirate single duvet

chicaguapa · 19/10/2016 18:48

wornout You can get 3 Oddsocks for £5.99 on Amazon (so just slightly over budget). That's 3 socks not 3 pairs Hmm so not hugely good value. But popular with boys who can't be bothered to match their socks in the morning and quite fun.

Also Top Trumps usually come in at a fiver and have free postage. There's a huge range of subjects so you can usually find something appropriate.

LaylaTheMiddleAgedWitch · 19/10/2016 18:51

Wornout have a look on The Works. They have a 2 for £10 promotion on items at the minute with further discounts.

You could always log onto The Entertainer after 9pm tonight - There's a Buy one, get one for a penny promotion online tonight and tomorrow. Starts in store tomorrow.

LavateLasManos · 19/10/2016 18:54

wornout The Guinness Book of Records Gamers edition might be good and the Pokemon guidebook. Think they're both £5 each on The Book Depository

OhHolyFuck · 19/10/2016 18:58

acsec my red subscription isn't here either...

LavateLasManos · 19/10/2016 18:58

Guinness Records Gamer Edition and Pokemon Book

Was wondering if someone can give me some advice I want to get something clothes wise for a 15 year old boy can anyone recommend which brands teens are into these days?

Badders123 · 19/10/2016 19:01

Try t k maxx for CK boxers

AtSea1979 · 19/10/2016 19:01

I'm still catching up with the thread so sorry if this has been answered. Can someone please tell me what a blind bag is

RoastieToastieReastie · 19/10/2016 19:06

Definitely tkmaxx for ck boxers, have got dh a few in the past. Often they are all the same size though so not of luck if it's the size you need.

Mammy my 15 year old niece is into Jack Wills, Superdry and adidas superstars

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 19/10/2016 19:15

Atsea a bling bag is where you don't know exactly what is in the bag eg in a my little pony blind bag you know it will be a mlp figure but not which one

Badders123 · 19/10/2016 19:17

I know what we are getting ds1 (13) but am really struggling what to tell others if when they ask!
He has a PS4
He likes football but only to play not to watch/support
Quite sensitive skin so cheap toiletries are out
Doesn't eat sweets or choc I know, I know Smile
I've got him an advent candle (family tradition) and a game of thrones tree bauble Grin
Aside from books and dvds I'm stumped Sad

Badders123 · 19/10/2016 19:19

Oh and not remotely interested in clothes/labels either!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 19/10/2016 19:20

Just got an email from ELC about a flash sale

dingit · 19/10/2016 19:22

My Dd loved Plop trumps last year. You can guess what the subject was Grin

gaggiagirl · 19/10/2016 19:39

Amy the original factory shop has 3 pairs of ck boxers for £30 which seems extortionate but is apparently not.

99percentchocolate · 19/10/2016 19:45

Notonthehighstreet has 15% off when you spend £50 enter code HOHOHO

Helpmeltb · 19/10/2016 19:47

Up to 75% off at Salt Rock. They have some nice t-shirts for men and kids.

thatslow · 19/10/2016 19:51

cheese, I bought a Disney Ariel toddler doll this week from B and M for £9.99. (They also had sleeping beauty, belle and Cinderella.)

breakfastbap · 19/10/2016 19:51

My 16 yr old DS Likes NICCE and Eleven Degrees clothing if that helps?

Badders123 · 19/10/2016 19:56

He would wear a flour sack with arm holes cut in it - honestly! SmileConfused
He has an iPad, tv, blu Ray player (last two bought with his own money) and so many dvds!!
I might ask dh if he needs any football kit?
One thing I have got is a Star Wars bean bag for his bedroom which we redecorated with a Star Wars theme in the summer Smile
And as for his stocking!....argh!!
