Thanks for the heads up on the Totes sale Quilliam. I got a pair of nice slippers for a older teen whom I was struggling to find something for. The free postage made it worthwhile buying them. I also bought myself a new pair of slippers.

beadyboo · 19/10/2016 16:28

I popped to sainsburys before school pick up. There was only one other person in the toy aisle! I wasn't particularly overwhelmed with the stock, but the shelves were full.
I left with a pack of 2 shopkins and I didn't even manage to get the school polo shirts I originally went for - only age 2 or age 16!
On the plus side, my second hype bag was waiting for me when I got home and it's lovely.
Looking for suggestions for main present for DD8. She's into craft, Guinea pigs and ballet, but we have more boxes full of card / glue / pipe cleaners etc than we can cope with.

SalemSaberhagen · 19/10/2016 16:34

Got the Vtech garage for £20 in sainsburys today, as well as a few unicorn bits too. It was chaos in there though! Grown women almost pushing my 2 year old DD over to get past Shock

AdmiralCLingus · 19/10/2016 16:35

Ooooooh my Hush order arrived.... no despatch email or anything but my tights are here!

acsec · 19/10/2016 16:37

Has anyone got their Red subscription mystery bag yet? Mines not come yet!

nickdrakeslovechild · 19/10/2016 16:42

Went to sainsburys after the school run, not impressed there was only a few people there. The shelves were full but not great items or prices. Got a doh vinci glitter refill for £3.50 and that was it! But.. I did manage to get 6 summer school dresses for £1.90 each so worth going in.

My local Home Bargains had the Nixies Swimming Mermaids for £2.99 so got one of those to satisfy my lack of sainsburys buys! Xmas Blush

Shine0n · 19/10/2016 16:44

My Hush order (50p chocolate) came this afternoon by Royal Mail. I didn't have a dispatch email. Thanks for the bargain!

nickdrakeslovechild · 19/10/2016 16:45

Oh unicorns, completely forgot Morrisons are doing a Christmas version of the Chocolate Unicorn they did at easter, its really cute.

CheeseAtFourpence · 19/10/2016 16:46

Our Sainsbury's was lovely and quiet just after 8 and managed to get lots for Christmas and friends birthday presents for next year.

Scanned to check everything against Amazon and the Lego friends was cheaper on there. Disney long locks dolls were a bargainous £11.99 so I got two. Only Toddler dolls were Anna and Elsa and I'm after Ariel.

CheeseAtFourpence · 19/10/2016 16:48

Oh and they had loads of half price fancy dress stuff in Sainsbury's. Lovely ones with hoops - Anna, Cinderella and butterfly ones

lookingforbaubles · 19/10/2016 16:52

lush tights arrived here - no email notification

thanks Lush!

nickdrakeslovechild · 19/10/2016 16:56

If anyone sees the Lalaloopsy hair dough doll for a bargain price can you let me know please. Its about the only think I have left to get!

SleepFreeZone · 19/10/2016 17:00

Oooh I'm hopeful my Hush stuff might come now. I ordered three candles and three chocolate bars from memory.

reallybadidea · 19/10/2016 17:07

My Lakeland Christmas catalogue arrived today. I thought how nice the one with little drawers looked but a bit pricey at £29.99. Then I saw one in the Range for about half the price. Spot the difference!

I got a code! Yay! £1 chalk pens are on their way to me! No hush order here, hopefully tomorrow! I did manage to pick up the joker imaginext set for £18.99 from smyths today (new store opened today and was sent a £6 off a £15 spend voucher). They were also handing out goody bags so came away with 6 little lego sets.
My grumpy news is that I placed an order with the book people a few weeks back. Realised I've not received it so went hunting through my emails to discover it was dispatched 6th oct and delivered by Hermes on the 7th. I wasn't in so it was left in a "secure outbuilding". After numerous calls to the book people it turns out "secure out building" was in fact the green recycling bin - which was collected yesterday! Absolutely fuming! AngryAnd they will send out the order again but 2 items are not in stock any more and all I've been offered is a refund on those items. I'm not happy in the slightest with the book people and now have to rethink 2 presents for ds1 Sad

reallybadidea · 19/10/2016 17:08

If you check your account on Hush it should show whether your order is on hold or not.

Haudyerwheesht · 19/10/2016 17:10

Argos have half price toys for half term on. Barbie pop up camper van is £60.99 and there's a lot of other stuff too.

Tbh though who knows with Argos whether they'll actually have any in stock!

Haudyerwheesht · 19/10/2016 17:21

Also the next Argos 3 for 2 is allegedly on Nov 6th

TobleroneBoo · 19/10/2016 17:24

Buying a hair curler for SIL from boots which has £10 off at the moment, but I feel like I just need a little extra off, but all codes are for a higher spend

Sad
Ness1234 · 19/10/2016 17:28

Urban Outfitters have a sale on today.

MooseyMoo · 19/10/2016 17:32

Any dinosaur fans ... Just found these rub on transfer scene packs for £2.19.These are £5.99 on Amazon. Lots of other dino related stocking fillers. Downside is postage is £3 something. I just bought a few for present box to make most of postage price Smile

I remember doing these when I was little. I'm trying to encourage my 4yr old to pick up a pencil and use it.

Whatsername17 · 19/10/2016 17:44

Popped to my local Sainsburys and they are restocking the toy shelves. Bought 4 stocking fillers for dd for under a tenner so I'm pleased. Playdoh, mini my little pony type toys and a small lego friends set. Also bought my nieces present for her January birthday as I'm due on January 20th. Really pleased thanks for the update x

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 19/10/2016 17:56

I can't get to sainsburys till Friday but doesn't sound like we have missed too much!

Would like Halloween shopkins for the girls, has anyone spotted them anywhere except sainsburys? I like to make a small hamper with treats/dvd and something halloweeny for the girls as I refuse to go trick or treating!

Oh and someone was after beano things? I picked up a 2 pack of catapult pencils from tesco for £2 - my dd will love them :)

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 19/10/2016 18:02

Went back to Sainsbury's (for the cheese!!) and they'd restocked everything.

Picked up the Barbie car (£9.50)
Barbie and unicorn (£15)
And a Barbie on its own (£5)

Which is my friends twins done!

If anyone's in London, the Dalston branch has a load of bits left

dancemom · 19/10/2016 18:10

If anyone has a spare chalk pen code I would love one!

TIA
