I got to sainsburys for 7 and there were only 7 or 8 people queuing and lots waiting in cars. Everyone was pretty calm and civilised. The toys are spread out though so maybe that helped. I was really impressed. My Vtech alphabet bus is my best buy this year Grin

UnoriginalNN · 19/10/2016 09:31

Sainsbos was WILD for me

All In the night garden stuff gone annoyingly. Managed to get the last little iggle piggle soft toy for DD - it is very small though!

Playdoh was fab - 4 of the big size tubs for £1.66.

winewolfhowls · 19/10/2016 09:39

Could I be cheeky and appeal for a mothercare code if anyone has one going begging?

Shine0n · 19/10/2016 09:59

Adidas have 25% off today only with code FRIENDS. Just got my daughter a pair of Superstars (junior size) and a track jacket for £53. Delivery is only free if you spend over £50. The Superstars worked out at £35.96 which is the cheapest I've seen. I'm sure I've seen a few people on here ask for a good offer.

10% topcashback too (I have a referral link if anyone is yet to sign up but as far as I can see I'd get £5 when you earn £10 cashback but you'd get nothing extra).

Morning all. Thank you so much for all the bargains.

Playmobil 123 ark is £14.99 on Amazon (rather annoyingly for Prime only) but I can really recommend this. Have bought it several times for presents and it has always been a big hit.

Also, does anyone please have a Boden code? Would be so grateful! Thanks.

Petal7 · 19/10/2016 10:08

On the Book People, there is a Tom Gates CD set for £9.99. Yesterday AUTUMN15 was still working, making it £8.49! Read by Rupert Grint.

There were also so many fab things in their catalogue that I would have otherwise missed and may be good stocking fillers for Lego/Minecraft/Paw Patrol fans. There was also a lovely Usborne Christmas Maze book for £2.99 and a fab looking 365 things to do with Lego Bricks (£7.99) that comes with a timer!

AdmiralCLingus · 19/10/2016 10:16

Sainsburys here a bit wild too! Went in for a Halloween costume and halloween shopkins (none to be found 😢) but spent an extortionate sum on some other reduced shopkins bits. Not massively discounted but still better than full price!

£12 for series 6 dolls instead of £15
£8 for a 12 pack instead of £10
£2 for the jars instead of £2.5

Freezingwinter · 19/10/2016 10:18

I forgot to say they had trolls blind bags, ninja turtles blind bags, hot wheels and Thomas trains all around 1-2, they'd be such good stocking fillers

neddle · 19/10/2016 10:28

Big sale at Zalando atm. I got £140 worth of stuff for my kids for only £41. I used code VBC5PFCPB for 15% off (over £50) and used Quidco as well.

BrollySmolly · 19/10/2016 10:39

Popped to sainsburys and it was busy, but shelves were well stocked.

I only bought a couple of the aurora unicorn toys for £2.50 and will be perfect for party presents and some play doh for £1.66.

I did see chillfactor cups for £6, which would be a good buy.

MooseyMoo · 19/10/2016 10:44

admiral My Sainsburys had two boxes of Halloween Shopkins. I was amazed and very pleased when I realised they were in the sale too (£2). They were in the Halloween aisle, not with the toys.

I tried Argos to get the Shopkins season 6 tube but they only had season 5. It's so annoying they keep putting the next season on the same code.

primitivemom · 19/10/2016 10:49

Morning all, just had an email for 25% off at Adidas, code is FRIENDS. Hope it helps someone Smile

Chocolateteabag · 19/10/2016 10:53

Our Sainsbury's in Northallerton was practically deserted at 9.30 - and looked like no one had bought anything - someone joined me clearing the aisle and said they'd not even tried the Darlington one as it was so busy. Have bought far too much but guessing it's all returnable

neddle · 19/10/2016 10:54

Marble run on a lightning deal now.

99percentchocolate · 19/10/2016 11:01

Wasn't going to bother with Sainsbury's but tempted by Lucy the dog...

primitivemom · 19/10/2016 11:01

Estée Lauder have a lovely gift set free with any purchase, worth over £100! Would make a lovely gift for someone Smile

primitivemom · 19/10/2016 11:02

Hope it helps Smile

99percentchocolate · 19/10/2016 11:03

Forgot to mention the reason i was going to give it a swerve this year - last year I saw two women fighting over the last Elsa doll and security had to step in because they started shoving each other. 😂

Elizabethtailored · 19/10/2016 11:05

Ooh primitive- is that from the Estee Lauder website?

luckiestgirl · 19/10/2016 11:14

Found this link for Estée Lauder offer

here

Unfortunately if you look closely it's actually £40 for the gift bag instead of £100, with any purchase. Still good, but not good enough to tempt me personally.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 19/10/2016 11:17

I nipped into Sainsbury's for some cheese (which I've just realised I've forgotten to buy...)

It was organised chaos!! Unlike last year which was fucking bedlam!

I got
Remote controlled inflatable BB-8 (£20)
Crayons airbrush (£11.50)
4 tubs play dough pack x 3 (£1.66 each)
6 pack hot wheels style cars (£3.66 each-got emergency vehicles and dump truck/taxis)
Mini Disney princess doll (£3.66)

Am really pleased with my little haul! I've been looking for you ambulances etc but they're all pretty pricey for such little cars so am thrilled with the £3.66 ones!

primitivemom · 19/10/2016 11:17

Bloomin small print! Sorry ladies Sad

DubiousCredentials · 19/10/2016 11:20

Are Amazon likely to price match the Sainsbury's prices like they do when Argos has 3 for 2 on?

happyscrappy · 19/10/2016 11:21

KAWAIILOVE still works for 10% off at Blippo.. I might have bought want everything on sale, it's all so cute!

They had little Halloween Lego sets too at our Sainsbury's today with 20% off. I had to seriously sit on my hands. Maybe it's a good job the shelves were almost empty after the school run today!

coolpatterngirl · 19/10/2016 11:23

I have a £10 off Boden code if anyone wants it. I tried to use it but it doesn't work on clearance items: X0KM5CNGVPL8.
