Excuse the typos...doing night feeds!

Haudyerwheesht · 19/10/2016 06:16

Has anyone got lego dimensions? I'm wondering if it's worth it or if you need all the 3 million add ons to make it any use?

wintersdawn · 19/10/2016 06:33

Thanks for the responses re Sainsbury's. Think I'll have to risk waiting for post school run. Was hoping I could get in now Smile

OrangeSquashTallGlass · 19/10/2016 06:58

Oh I've been to that fudge shop RJ! It is delicious fudge. I may have to get some...

BadlyWrittenPoem · 19/10/2016 07:16

Thanks for the chalk pen links. I've signed up to the review club but still couldn't get a coupon but hopefully I will in future. Smile

AtSea1979 · 19/10/2016 07:17

Haud we have Lego dimensions. I got it last Xmas and it's still in use now, the only thing I'd say is my DS plays it like any other game so it's expensive for a game but it was his main present and he was impressed with the portal. Only bought one level pack and a couple of fun packs since but that was for his birthday.

Jacket animals have 66% off here. They are limited on sizes but DD would love this

Can I add another Saltrock code? 25% off for you, I get £10 credit for referral. They still have some good offers on, bought a lovely hoodie the other day.

I've just got back from Sainsburys!!

I brought a Vtech alphabet bus reduced from 24 to 12, Thomas blind bags reduced from 2 to 1, an own brand robot toy reduced to 5 and a cash register for 6.66.

I saw but didn't buy some toot toot animals and cars that were either 4 or 6 depending on type, Vtech grow and go rocker reduced to 25, a dino playset reduced to 15, nerf guns were reduced but didn't see prices as everyone was going mad for them. Also lots of Thomas, paw patrol, disney dolls, dinosaurs, a bit of Peppa stuff all looked to be reduced. They also had quite a few Vtech toys and their own brand toys such as microwave, trolley, etc were heavily discounted. They had a supermarket and trolley reduced from 40 to 20!

Giselaw · 19/10/2016 07:57

crazygirluk saw these at sainsburys this morning and thought of your query. They were £11.25

Giselaw · 19/10/2016 08:01

By the way, I got to my sainsburys this morning right after 7am, and in the 20 minutes I was browsing, maybe only 2 or 3 other people were buying toys. The way Internet was going on, I was expecting huge cues and grumpy, elbowing parents who haven't had a cuppa yet.

Mama1980 · 19/10/2016 08:03

Does anyone know a good site to check hatchimals stock on at all please? Seem to remember a link a few threads back but I can't find it.

LavateLasManos · 19/10/2016 08:24

I'm in my local Sainsbury's now, rewarding myself with a bacon butty for having survived the saleWink
It was actually rather civilised really, busy but people were generally mindful of each other and tried not to block aisles. I mostly picked up Paw Patrol stuff for my DSis but did manage to grab a Lucy Dog for £17.50 and a box of sparkly Play Doh for £3.33 so I'm happy.

Coldilox · 19/10/2016 08:25

Sainsburys was OK, in and out by 8:10 and got a couple of monster high sets for £7 each, Rainbow barbie for £10, a load of mlp and trolls blind bags for stocking fillers, a little shopping trolley for around a fiver I think, a remote control lightning McQueen car for £7, two large plush princesses for £7 each (managed to find the two favourites Aurora and Snow White) and a little barbie nail set for 2.50. They also had loads of toot toot, hot wheels and nerf guns, and plenty of Disney stuff. Proud of myself for being measured this year and not going mad for the sake of it, these are all things on the list.

In previous years I've found it is usually OK before school run but after that is when the pushing and shoving can start. I think people just get overwhelmed with fear of missing out and start chucking everything they can reach in their trollies. Top tip I did this year was taking my biggest trolley bag and leaving the trolley behind - I could move far more freely. I've also had some success going late evening on the toy sale opening day as they have trolley loads of returned stock from people panic buying and later returning most of it.
