See post two for links and codes and huge thanks to firefly girl for helping me update the list so hopefully all old codes have now been banished. I can't keep the list up to date without your help so please do let me know in bold so I can't miss it if anything doesn't work Thanks

The Wilko 'lego' base plates are fab. I got them last year for the DSs and they have been really well used. In fact Wilko lego in general is the best Lego substitute I have come across as it actually stays together properly at a fraction of the cost of real Lego.

Whattodowithaminute · 06/10/2016 13:16

Massive Lego box arrived today thanks for the link, Christmas shopping officially commenced, need to start committing instead of procrastinating as missed out on the l'occitane offer and some other bits...

BadlyWrittenPoem · 06/10/2016 13:32

Thanks GardenWorm, those mugs are just what I needed and £1.60 each (once I used the code) is a bargain!

neddle · 06/10/2016 13:33

Badlywrittenpoem here are some compatible baseplates, there's a few different sets.

chicaguapa · 06/10/2016 13:50

purpleladybird I spoke to Hearst Magazines and they always send the free gift to the bill payer. They don't (and can't) send it to the recipient of the magazine.

Ness1234 · 06/10/2016 13:51

Thanks for the Good Housekeeping link.

WaitingForEgg · 06/10/2016 13:54

Looking for a gift for a 3 year old boy. Likes trucks, cars etc. Hoping to spend under £10... any thoughts?

Thanks chica. I got it for MIL but actually quite chuffed the bowls will be coming to me. I might share.

liquidrevolution · 06/10/2016 14:36

Ooh pirate lottie! DD getting the Happyland pirate ship from us do you think she will be too young at 2.5 for the Lottie doll? I hate Barbie and want to promote positive role model dolls (yes I'm one of 'those' mums)

Maybe I'll just buy and stash

AlbertaDewdrop · 06/10/2016 14:40

One for techy males USB cufflinks reduced from £25 to £6.40

I dont think that techy males wear cufflinks- it is an oxymoron.

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 06/10/2016 14:41

Bumpkitty it is that one (snuggles)
I bought it in Argos 3 for 2 and the picture that you showed is identical to the picture on the side of the box

TheImprobableGirl · 06/10/2016 15:15

I'm trying to buy two peppy pups... A brown one and a Dalmatian- are they just really hard to find in stock or are they not released yet?! I've gone from looking for a bargain to panicking!!

RoastieToastieReastie · 06/10/2016 15:17

Valium do you have some kind of magic post making ability to the end of threads there after girls post?!

Purple I have emailed Hearst the same question re the bowls and good housekeeping! I'll let you know what I get back but I imagine the bowls will be a free gift whilst stocks last, and the amount of us signing up I'm questioning if we'll all get them.

Acsec congrats when will someone call their baby Reastie Grin

ImprobableGirl
I don't think the Peppy Pups are released until the beginning of November, but you can preorder them at Amazon.

Oreocrumbs · 06/10/2016 15:55

Well my dd is clearly going to be a mumsnetter when she grows up.....

She is going through the smyths catalogue looking for things she 'can't live without' and sees a barbie rainbow carriage thing with a unicorn!

When I point out she has a Cinderella carriage and other similar toys she replies....

"Yes, but they aren't pulled by a unicorn now are they?" Grin

And she looked just like me when she said it!! Hmm

So I'm taking this as my cue to buy a Robert, I've been so good at resisting!

She's not getting the carriage though

neddle · 06/10/2016 16:05

I bought this star projector after seeing it on here. We've been using it at bedtime and my 4yo has slept in his own bed for an entire week!!
On lightning deals right now in different colours and there's some with interchaneable patterns too.
Highly recommended.

CuriosityWinsTheDay · 06/10/2016 16:06

Do Character.come ever do codes or should I not bother waiting and just order?

pantherfootballforever · 06/10/2016 16:07

How have I never seen these before?! mermaid tail blanket
Random Amazon search for inspiration for a birthday present for 12 year old niece and came across these! Of course I've bought one and now I am wondering who else would like one! (Other than my own three girls because we do NOT need any more blankets in this house!) Not even sure how much of a bargain they are but they are so bloomin cool (and hideous at the same time) that I'm not even sure I care!

Ilikesweetpeas · 06/10/2016 16:09

Does anyone know if the wilco base plates mentioned above are comparable with duplo, or just Lego?

BeBesideTheSea · 06/10/2016 16:11

Thanks for the ELC sale link. That is both neices sorted now Smile

pantherfootballforever · 06/10/2016 16:12

In the meantime I'm also looking for inspiration for stocking fillers did DH - nothing rude or crude as will all be opened in front of DCs. Have so far got a book, pointless mini game and Simplehuman dash button.
(Obviously haven't used the dash button yet, but I am rather excited about it and already think it will be the highlight of the stocking for him - he's always morning about running out of bin bags.

pantherfootballforever · 06/10/2016 16:13

moaning clearly - not morning
